We were forwarded an add that a friend of oursfound in the Toronto Star. The THS has a loppy girl that wassurrendered to them and then diagnosed with a medical conditon that thevet at THS says leaves her about 3 months to live.
As long as this medical condition poses no health threats to ourother kids and we can afford any medical care she mayneed...Tony and I have decided we will apply to adopt her, and give hera home for as long as she is with us.
I have emailed them to see if she is still available foradoption...there is no other way to directly contact them, other thanto go to the shelter in person...and it is a little far away seeing asit is in Toronto and we are in Guelph! It is about 3 hoursround trip! So I am waiting to see if they contact me to letus know what is what.
So fingers crossed that someone (if not us) is able to give her a goodhome so she doesn't have to spend her last days in the shelter!
I couldn't get the pic to post, so here is a link to her adoption pagewith a pic of her!http://www.torontohumanesociety.com/adopt/petharbor_others.aspThe adoption page doesn't mention any condition so we will have to waittill we are contacted by the THS to find out what is wrong!
Darn it!The pic still won't post! She is on page 3 at the top...her name is Cuddles!
