Aww he was so cute! and I know Zeus loved to cagedance on his cage and harass him.... How old was he, Peg?
I'm trying to think. He was....over 2 for sure. I'd have to look it up.
Last year we had a situation where we had a few bucks come down w/ wry neck - not all at the same time - but close enough that we think it was related - especially since the treatment really helped them. He was one of them....and he never fully recovered although he was fairly active.
He would have a relapse every few months though...and he had stasis once.
I was talking to someone the night before he died (really - early early early that morning) and said, "this time the black rabbit isn't winning..".
A few hours later I was proven wrong. So it hurts - really badly.
Zeus has made his spot - I've seen you say things and felt that he was sort of there now and probably seems like he's been there a long time - and it's only been what? not even 2 mos?
I'm trying to remember - we got him - Feb 23rd? So probably 6 weeks?
Bit by bit he's coming closer to me - and I think after the anniversary of Tiny's "Gotcha Day" .... I started realizing that I had a choice - to continue mourning Tiny to the point that I didn't have a relationship with Zeus....or force myself to have a relationship.
It didn't hit me until today though that he was wanting that relationship too....
Sounds like he's very dedicated to you. That's good! I have some photos and video of Tony that I can't wait to fix and upload but I need to go to bed. We skipped horse fair today and we'll most likely be there all day tomorrow. Lexi and I are laughing about how he's doing "Zeus Ears"......
I guess I'd say that we're becoming dedicated to each other. Its almost like we've started doing a dance - but we don't yet know each other's moves...so we're trying to study each other and match our steps.
I think it is hilarious how Tony is doing Zeus ears....
