When Apollo thumped it was really loud. I oncehappened to be outside on the deck and heard him thumping and the doorsand windows were closed.

Tiny isn't really a thumper (and he's sort of small for a flemish - around 17 pounds maybe?) - BUT - he loves treats and has been known to almost knock me over when he comes running for them if I'm not firmly braced on the ground. I know that Alicia's Samantha HAS knocked her over for treats...

Apollo seems to be a very sweet bunny! Hey folks, lets continue this thread, I LOVE big bunny pics! :biggrin2:

Oh, yeah, and by the way, that second pic is real. Maybe the angle the pic was taken really makes the bunny look even bigger, but that's about it. Here's another.

I knew about that german guys and his giant rabbits even before getting my first bunny. There are lots of stuff about him on the internet. One of his bunnies won first prize for biggest rabbit in Germany, then the Koreans wanted his bunnies, then he sold some bunnies to them, and then there was a big mess..... it seems instead of the koreans start the breeding as they were supposed to (to aid hunger in their country), there is a suspicion high officials simply ate the bunnies!!! I think the rabbit in the photo is much more that 17lbs. I have a Continental Giant and his G Grandad weighs 30lbs. Heres a pic.
:pinkbouce:Holly molly!!! Look at that big bun!!! Congrats on the big boy, he's a beauty.

...Still Waiting for the Continental Giant to come to Canada :D;). Anyone know if they could possibly? They would make Bruno look like a little tiny dwarf!

I am too! To bad I wasnt rich, I'd have a doe and buck not related shipped over and breed them... :( I wish I could find a breeder in the US, cause I'd drive and go get it! :(:(:( SOMEONE NEEDS TO START BREEDING Continental Giants IN CAN OR THE US!!

a) Yes that German bunny is huge. Imagine if it got annoyed- it would eat you!
b) Is there something odd about having an advert for a diet product/plan that claims you can 'Lose 10 pounds ina week'next toa photo of a giant rabbit, or is that just me? :craziness
