Taking my rabbit to the vet

I have to take one of my rabbits to the vet (looks like blood in urine) today. Should I take his bonded mate with him for the visit?

Absolutely. Bonded bonds should not be separated for vet visits. If one goes there without the other, it will return with all the odors and scents of the vet office which can make the other rabbit not recognize him.

I always transport both. It helps for the drive, too -- they both hate being in the car, but being in the car together makes it easier for them to deal with the stress.

Thanks for your responses. I took them both. They were both stressed but they had each other for support. They were very happy when they got home.
