Kathy Smith is currently doing a study on the effects that Ivermectinhas on rabbits. She will be writing me this week and I'll put up a postwith her message in it asking for people's experience with it. Wouldgreatly appreciate you adding this tidbit to her post.

She's checking all kinds of sources - vets, scientists, breeders,pharmacists, pet owners, and anyone else she can think of. I'm going toconnect her with a friend of mine that's a wildlife biologist.

It should prove to be very interesting what the outcome will be becausewe don't believe a study this extensive has been done on Ivermectin forrabbits.

I think that the toxicity studies in animals (including rabbits) havebeen extensiveand as with any substance, in rare casescertain individuals may exhibit a serious reaction.

I think I'm going to try him too. I saw him a few months backwhen I was going to get Daisy and Basil spayed, he did their pre-check,but I had to cancel (I can't even remember why) and I just haven't beenable to reschedule and now I might breed Basil, so.... Maybehe'll give me a volume discount. LOL Do you know ifhe sees dogs and cats and maybe even reptiles? I would loveto find a vet I'm comfortable taking all my animals to.

I also have to say that Stephie is just such a pretty bunny.I love her coloring. And she's such a friendlygirl. I really must come meet her and Fonzie.

I'm doing the same thing, Carolyn. I should have gotten upand walked away, but I went straight to this thread when I heard and Ican't stop tearing up. People here at workwouldnever understand why I'm so upset, so I hope no one asks me what'swrong. This lump in my throat won't go away.
