I was blown away when I first saw Apolloand Athena. Even I wasn't prepared for their size.Dale andIlooked at the carriers we had bought and looked at therabbits, looked at each other and said There is No Way.

They had a 22 pound Flemish there and I swear I thought it wasa dog the breeder had brought to watch over the rabbits. That rabbitpicked her ears up and my jaw dropped.

My first experience with a flemmie was Carolyn'sCali.........she totally blew me away! I def. was afraid to pet her andi'm silly for being afraidespecially sinceCali wasnothing but loving! ....i couldnt have asked for a better introductionto the flemmie breed!

One time when I was at a friends house in theirkitchen I happened to glance outside in their backyard and saw thishuge beast that looked like a bear! I asked what it was andthey said it was their rabbit. Naturally I had to ask if itwas supposed to be that big. They said it was aFlemish. I have wanted one ever since, but I prolly willnever get one.

I love Flemish Giants! I think theyare SO gorgeous, and a friend of mine had one and she was graceful, even with her size! They are perfect if you are afraid ofhurting smaller sized bunnies, and are very friendly if ya take care ofthem.

I can still remember my first sighting of aFlemish Giant. It was at a petting zoo, I saw her sitting in a cage shewas a Gorgeous 19 pound Sandy. It was love at first site and I tookhome one of her daughters they had for sale. Sometimes when I see mineI forget just how majestic they look, until someone comes over and justfreaks out over their size and personality, and then I think back tothat first doe I saw and I appreciate them all over again...:mrsthumper:

I'd love to get a flemish. Bigger the bunny, more bunny to love! :D :bunnydance:

I think I actually have seen one in person, but I'm not sure. I went toa livestock auction a few times, and they sold mainly hugerabbits.I think most of them were mixed large breeds.Probably about 18 pounds. I saw a couple ofrabbit that lookedlike a white flemish.

Everybody who has a big flemmish, give it an extra special cuddle for me please! :D:kiss:
