Heh! Wait 'til Peg sees this. ;)

What an awesome looking little bunny! Don't think I've ever seen one like this! Great mane!

Do you know if he's a he or she's a she yet? Looks to me like purebred Lionhead, is that right?

Congrats! :inlove:

Thanks alot Pipp, how did u get the photo to be displayed instead of clicking on the attachment link?

I dont know if its a he/she..How do I check its gender? The rabbitlikes to play with my hand, sniff my hand up to the elbow and hug myhands and scratch my hand as hard as it can..Its painful but i guessits fun for him(made the humm noises while doing this)

This morning I was playing with it again,it climbed my hand and fell onhis buttock, and made a weird noise..It was really really cute ..

Yes,its a lionhead :)

(s)he's such a cutie! thanks for sharing! maybeyou could consider creating him/her a Bunny Blog? I'd love to see morepictures :D

Actually, I'm not sure. :embarrassed:I just havethe photo up on my screen, click on it, hit 'copy' and paste it intothe reply, and there it is.

The best way to post pictures, though, is to upload them to a site liketinypics.com or photobucket.com, and just copy and paste the 'IMG' linethat you'll see under the photo when it's been uploaded.

Here's a post from the Resource Center:

Hmmm, trying to look at my lionhead's sex is difficult..The fur is very thick.. :/

Oh my goodness...a sport chestnut. I'm leaningtowards thinking it is a single mane and I am doubting the mane willstay from the looks of it - but I could be wrong.

The hair has to be really kinda kinky for the mane to stay well...almost as if you used a hair crimper on it...

But it is adorable! The face reminds me of Harriet....my favorite buck...

Well...ONE of my favorite bucks.

Peg

I didnt use anything for the hair, not sure about the previous owner but it has its own shampoo :/

The rabbit will NATURALLY have a crimped look to its hair - it is born with that type of hair.

I'll have to try and get a close up of some of my double manes (andsome of my single manes that have the crimped hair) at another time.

But I never shampoo them....

Anyway - I was just commenting on the natural style of hair that the mane is...

I love the look of the bunny though.

Peg

P.S. For a lionhead, the naturally crimped hair is sort oflike how in humans some of us will have straight hair and some willhave curly hair and some will have wavy hair....just naturally -without doing anything to change it. Well, the lionheads that have thecrimped look to their mane...keep their mane and it usually grows backfuller when they molt.

What a cutie-patootie!!!! Your bun is so beautiful! :)

You should start a bunny blog with her picture! It doesn'thave to be all pictures...stories are fun, too! :D
