Dear bi1526 and Stephanie,

I truly believe that Rescue Bunnies know that they are rescued andappreciate it so deeply. Won't go into Fauna's story now, but she wasvery neglected.

Napoleon looks a lot like Apollo, I agree wholeheartedly. Pam will beable to guide you just right on what breed/s he is. I don't evenventure to go there, but What A Beautiful Beast.

His eyes mirror how calm and peaceful he is now. He obviously knowshe's loved and is Home. His circling you and loving you says it all.You are his center.

Congratulations.

You'll work out the kinks with Stephanie's guidance and your intuition. :)

P.S.

My suggestion about when you can go back to WoodyPet is to take a lookat the wound and if it's healed over enough so that a piece couldn'tget in there, okay. If it's still tender and could take in a smallpiece of it, stick to the shredded newspaper to be on the safe side.

Carolyn,

Tucker is not the only one with a harem now. There's aromantic triangle at my house, too! I think if you scramblethe letters in Napoleon's name it spells polygamy! Heehee.

I let the girls in the kitchen with him last night and he was REALLYinterested in Snuggy, but she kept running away every time he went nearher. Baby, however, was right under his feet the wholetime. She even followed him into his bedroom (laundryroom). I had to shoo them out of there. I wasafraid he might try to mount her and hurt himself (or her - she'slittle). I'll have to teach Baby that young ladies are notsupposed to act that way!

No one was aggressive, so I'm happy. I think my trio will be bonded in no time!

Laura

First let me say thank you so much andApollo thanks you too. You are very sweet. I can't get over like yousaid the both have that same face. Napolean's ears are a bit smallerthan Wollo's but wow.

I am so glad he has settled in so well and so fast. He isgorgeous. The gilrs sound so sweet. I love how Baby is following himaround. That is so sweet.

I can't wait for you to ask PAm and see what she says about His breed? It'll be interesting.

Tina,

Here's what Pam said about his breed:

Hi Laura,

He does appear to be a mix of some sort. In the photo, thecoat appears to be longer and softer than that of a New Zealand --which would rule out New Zeland or Californian.

The ears appear to be grayish in the photo??? This would bethe pointed white/himi/cal gene -- not the albino gene per se (howeverit is a form of albinism).

We do often see these "crop outs" not only from mixed breeds -- butalso as a result of American Sable breedings. Californianshave been frequently mixed with American Sables. The Sableshave a soft roll-back coat, very different from the Cals, and weighfrom 7-9 lbs.

Pam

I should have asked about his eyes, too. They look blue, butthey have some pink in there, too. It's reallyodd-looking.

Laura

Yes, he has a rather nice tail and a nice, soft coat.

He may be a mutt, but I don't care. He's a cute, sweet mutt.

Is Mr. Z a New Zealand?

I'm so glad that things are going well. :)

Also, mutts are the best!! For rabbits, cats and dogs I think. Abby isa mutt too, half Lop and half Mini Rex. She's got the best of bothbreeds I think, and the greatest ear control of any rabbit I've everseen. Up, down, sideways, she's all over the place. :p

Thanks, Stephanie.

Is Abby the grey one? Her fur looks really soft. They're all precious.

Now if I can just get Napoleon to stop spraying, I'll behappy. It's not as bad as before the neuter, but he stillsprays sometimes. Yesterday I noticed he'd sprayed thewashing machine!

I got Napoleon to tooth purr last night while Iwas rubbing his face and ears. He did it againtoday. I guess I'm doing something right!

Laura

How awesome. I love tooth purrs. I toogot Apollo to purr last night for the first time since his accident.Makes you feel like the best mom ever doesn't it. I am sohappy for you. He is gorgeous.

Thanks, Tina. My Ally will be elevenin June. Isn't Jeremy about that age, too? Arey'all coming to the boat party in July? It would be a LONGdrive for us, but we are thinking about it. With the cost ofgas, it might be cheaper to fly!

Here's a pic of Ally from last Halloween. At least you can see her face in this one!

Oh Laura she is Gorgeous and you tellher I said so. OMGosh. Jeremy will be 11 next month, May 14th. I amdefinitely going to the Boathouse Party. We too are driving. Apollo hasto go and I am so not flying him, he wouldn't make it. Soundsmelodramatic but it's really true. Plus I will be leaving the partywith 3 new bunny Girls so driving makes more sense.

I am doing the trip in 2 days. Still deciding if we want tospend the night in a hotel or a campground. This is going to be ourSummer Vacation. Gas prices will only allow us one big one thisyear.

I would love to see you there. That would be so awesome.

Tina

How's The Beast doing, Laura?

I'm still not used to your new username. :)
