Hello all.

If there are any Dutch breeders out there are you able to tell me the colour of my rabbit because I have no idea? He is the bunny in my avatar and his head has a steel grey colour but then he goes into this light sort of brown I know he isn't chocolate and he can't be steel grey so anyone know?

Would be appreciated!

Thanks.

No, you can still show him, but since you don't know his pedigree I would recommended showing him in the pet section, its judged by Friendliest bun, cutest bun and that...

Pet section is so much fun, Ive showed in there a few times, they can still win ribbons and certificates too :)

Tri color dutch? He looks like a Tort dutch to me. Torts are showable. Even without a pedigree, I would put him in an ARBA show to see how he does.

ETA: He may be a blue too. His head is darker than the color on his back. Is there any way that you could post a better and bigger picture of him?

I have seen tri color or harlequin dutch before, but they are an unrecognized variety. I think that it will never be a recognized variety because it is too difficult to get the dutch markings with the harlequin or tri markings right.

he looks like my blue buck as he was molting out.

Well sorta looks like your guy, the rest of his saddle molted out before his hindquarters did.
