I understand that Lissa won't be back until Monday. We're going to have to depend on her "land line friends" to keep us updated.

Thoughts and prayers are sent her way.

Lenci made it through the operation justfine. Lissa's on her way to get her a new toy andtreats. She'll find out at 2:00 this afternoon (CentralStandard Time) whether she can bring Lenci home tonight ornot. I think she's going to insist if they have no one theremanning the shop for the night.

Lenci's operation took about 45 minutes. She went in at 9:30 and as of 11:00, Lenci's eyes were open.

Yay! I knew she would come through just fine!! Yay for Lenci!!

If she could survive being in a pot, she could survive anything :p

Glad to hear everything went so well!

I am so happy this is over for Lissa andLenci. I know how afraid Lissa was for her baby. Ihope she can bring her home to care for her this evening.

Of course, she might put her in a roasting pan...... :X

;)

If you talk to her again, Carolyn, please tell her hello and send her our love :)

Buck, Iszy is the trouble bubble; Lenci's the angel. :)

Lissa showed up at the animal hospital with Banana in hand to see herbaby girl. They wouldn't let her in because they said Lenciwould get too excited. She has to wait an hour or so beforeshe hears from the vet to see if she can bring her home.

The best news is that Lenci's eating and sitting up. :)

If Lissa is told by the doctor that she can't have Lenci tonight, watchfor her name on the front page of the paper tomorrow. It'snot gonna be pretty.

Now, let's hope the little "stinker" becomes a "saint," like Lissa was hoping.

I think each vet is different. Someseem to feel that keeping them helps to keep them down and they canwatch them. They can check the girls especially, in themorning before they go home.Others feel they are better offgoing on home for their own peace of mind.

Bo's vet phoned and said he could come home at noon when I wasn'tsupposed to pick him up until after 3 pm. He was just doingso well they knew he'd be happier with me and, of course, I would makesure he was not being active.

Yay Lenci!!!! Oh I am so glad she is going well, and eating and she's getting new toys too!! Woohoo Lenci!! Carolyn ifyou read this and hear from LIssa in the meantime can you please tellher hello and congratulations :)

I kept thinking about her lastnight because of the time difference, weare ahead here and I tried working it out and it made me morefrustrated so I thought as soon as I woke up I'll go and look at theforum and see how Lenci is and I am so relieved she is doing well (asI'm sure Lissa is relieved too).
