I just want to know if my room is big enough for 2 rabbits, ill upload some photos of my room! His cage is always open and supply of hay all around the room! If there isn’t I will make some arrangements with maybe moving my tortoise or taking my desk out of my room.

Initially yes, you do need extra space for two separate pens, which it looks like you have plenty of room to add another enclosure there.

Both rabbits have to be kept in separate spaces as you go through the settling in period for the new rabbit, post spay/neuter period (4-8 weeks usually) unless rabbit is already fixed 1-2 months prior, and then the actual bonding process (in a completely separate neutral area). So it can be several weeks to months of this transition period, until the bonding is finished and you only need a single enclosure again.

Once bonded, you really don't usually need more space for 2 vs 1, if the single bun is housed already in an appropriately sized pen, which yours appears to be. Though you will likely need to upgrade a few things like the litter box, to one that will fit both rabbits comfortably.

Being that you're in the UK, there's a really good chance of having a rabbit rescue around, that has already spayed/neutered rabbits and will allow bunny dates to find the right match, and may even offer bonding services for a fee. That's going to likely be the easiest way to bond your rabbit. Though for this, rescues usually have some requirements to be able to adopt a rabbit from them. But worth checking into.

Yes I was going to adopt a rabbit I wasn’t going to buy a new one, I’ve found a lot of shelters with a bunch of bunnies and ones with free bonding service. I will be waiting 8weeks for gravel anyways so hopefully during that time I can sort my room out and find the right companion for him, I’ve also heard that there bond can break? So needing another enclosure was on my mind as well! I really appreciate all the help you’ve given I’m really greatful! I’ll check out those links now!

@Gravellilac @JBun -

JBun is extremely knowledgeable to consult regarding decisions of lifelong companion care.

Gravellilac, Another sp/eutered bun adopted from a shelter or transitioning to your home (via bonding chemistry) from a rescue group will be beneficial. The grooming factor of bookend bondmates is heartwarming!

- I will spend approx. 1K in the next few months getting two small dwarfs wellness checked, vaccinated for RHVD2, and spayed. Easter Impulse Purchases will be soon be a reality here in the States!! Unaltered cute and adorbs buns may fly outta pet shops if people aren't aware of the thousands who need homes already. In my first sentence here, a student obtained the dwarfs from a pet store, had them in dinky cages, and wasn't given diddly info about proper nutrition, et al. She lost interest as time progressed. Folks do not consider lifelong care.

'Tis very uplifting to hear you may consider a bondmate for Gravel.

One tip I will share. Please keep in mind that two companion pets will need more hay, supplies, quality food and financial care. OTOH, both Gravel and a partner will be grateful for your dedication and love.

Notes on the surrender tags at shelter: Too many to care for, not enough time.

Less dominant n/male Potter is not periscoping like his wifey bun Tiny. Potter came from high-volume, high-kill shelter with respiratory maladies while dominant spayed girl T. was my singular pet store purchase decades ago. She was unspayed, of course, from the pet store as a youngen. Tiny was the dominant of the bonded duo. My life was filled with joy each time they'd scamper over to see me, or periscope for treats and head pets.
