My mom signed on Yahoo this morning as she always does before I wake up and nothing popped up. Then, my mom just signed on and she got an offline message dated 10/05/09 (May 10th, yesterday) at 2:14 PM which, she would have gotten it yesterday, right ? Anyways, she looked at who it was and it was mydads Yahoo account. If you guy don't remember, he passed away 2 years ago. Now, my mom has told me before that he's super secretive about his password so I doubt someone would get on , and do that. It wasn't actually a message that was sent, it was a *ding* (same as MSN's nudge). What also freaked me out is that earlier, around 2:15 I was telling my mom how I would like to try and see if my dad had a myspace or facebook to take some pictures or something .

I'm just freaking now, thats sooo weird. Eeek.

That is weird, but in a nice way. I'm quite superstitious, but it's weird because I don't have a religion. Like I have been what sounds like a man snoring in my room all day, but it seems to have stopped now.

I had a pet mouse that had gotten out of its plastic fun city (hamster cage) he was out for months and we could never catch him... we had quit seeing him and figured my cat ate him... the night my brother died i went to feed his cage mate and he had put himself up and never got out again...

I was broke when he died not a penny to my name... we got home after the viewing at the funeral home i kept finding change all over the place.. n my picnic table in the yard on the couch every where... it kind of freaked me out

I keep saying that it's like he was saying happy mothers day, but he tried to cover himself up sending it today and putting yesterdays date because he forgot.

I think that might have been your dad, Brandy. Coincidences aren't always what they seem.

Well he passed away at 3:15. =/ So that's not a co-inkidink.
You know whats also weird, my friend used my phone to text her mom but she ended up getting the number wrong. Anyways , the guy re-texted my phone and said ' i'm not your mother, sorry, you got the wrong number, my name is Gary' odd thing is, that was my dads name.
Hmph.

Brandy, the clocks "spring ahead" and fall back one hour, depending on the time of year...
Too close in my eyes to be coincidence.

My mom's fiance passed away on Christmas Eve, 2007.
When she is home (his family gave my mom his house, even though they weren't married yet), she likes to have the tv on, even if she's doing something in another room, just for background noise. Her fiance always complained about her doing this.

Now, she will leave the room with the tv on, and she will often come back to the living room to find the tv off, when she purposely left it on.

Also, several members of my family will often have dreams of my grandpa within the same week of each other. For my mom and I, he doesn't really do much in the dreams, just hangs back in the room.
My mom says he's stopping by to check in on us. I don't know if I believe in this, but it is really weird that we will all dream of him right around the same time.

I know but he passed away in 2007, and my mom got this just a few days ago.

I meant more that if he passed in the fall, the time would be an hour different than it would be right now (in the spring) :)

Yeah ..
Idk if I wrote this yet but I keep finding sunflower seeds around here. I don't eat them because i had braces and now have a permanent retainer. So eating sunflower seeds is out of the question for me. My mom doesn't eat them eithehr because she has alot of fillings plus she gets paranoid about things getting stuck in her teeth.

I wholeheartedly believe in these sort of things being messages from your beloved ones that have passed. I also don't believe in coincidences. Everything happens for a reason.
It sounds like your dad wanted to say hi, maybe even give a belated mother's day wish!
