If he hasn't exercised much you do need to be careful. I wouldn't make him do agility, just running around is good enough. Good luck at the vet on Thursday!
A little kinky but we do what we have to do, right?@JBun yes - the vet was awesome. Very knowledgeable, down to earth guy, with an equally excellent team with him. They put me at ease almost immediately. I really, really believe Bucky can do this - he's a fighter for sure. Once his bloodwork comes back, if it's good to go, we'll set him up for x-rays. Then, if all is clear, he'll get the neuter. The staff could not believe he was ten years old, he looks so good!
I've been researching some different greens I could give him that have cancer fighting qualities, as well. Very happy that kale is on the list - he LOVES kale. If anyone has any more recommendations that would be awesome! His "girlfriend" will be here tomorrow too, one of those realistic rabbit plushies off Amazon.
Miley loves Kale too! I had no idea it had cancer fighting qualities... Good to know!@JBun yes - the vet was awesome. Very knowledgeable, down to earth guy, with an equally excellent team with him. Kale seems like a favorite amongst buns! I also found out strawberries, blueberries, carrots, and other dark leafy greens like chard are good for their cancer fighting properties too! The dark leafy greens do all share the higher calcium content though, so we do have to be careful.Miley loves Kale too! I had no idea it had cancer fighting qualities... Good to know!
Very true with regards to the calcium content. Miley likes pak choi, spring greens, savoy cabbage, celery leaves and herbs too, all in moderation of course!Kale seems like a favorite amongst buns! I’m going to see if he likes strawberries tonight - I plan to add a tiny bit a couple times a week to his diet, if he likes them.
