NO Notso with Pidgeons , once the babyis out of the nest they willnot take it back , dont put it backoutside it will starve to death , howis the little featherduster doing tonight Robin .
I'm very sad to say that the little bird diedlast night We'd managed to feed it some, hadn't yet got itto drink any water. I put it in its nestbox, all bundled upwith towels, and put it up where the cats couldn't reach it while Iwent to a movie with Dad and Bro. When we got back threehours later, I pulled down the box, moved the towels and looked inside. . :bigtears: I buried it in the back yard by some rosebushes.
I don't know if it starved, got too cold, or was just dehydrated
Thank you very much, everyone, for your advice and help.(Especially Gypsy - it was great hearing from someone else who had beenin the same situation and knew what to do ) Whatever causethe poor baby to die, it certainly wasn't lack of good advice andsupport.
