It runs in my family, I swear! My mum has about 8 cats, 3 dogs, and 2 guinea pigs. Almost all of them are rescues, so she feels justified in having that many, lol. And me: 3 cats, 1 foster cat, and my Jezzy. I absolutely love them all, and yes I am obsessed. And being in the AHT program means im around other people just like me all the time, lol. I never want to be cured, I like my life just the way it is; fuzzy

I love my animals (we have 3 cats, 3 dogs and a rabbit). I wouldn't trade them for anything. Although there are days when I would gladly shave them all (j/k). I get a bit aggravated when they all go into shed at the same time.

Only with rabbits! I didn't plan it, but rabbit rescue has taken over my life. I have my own two - Sparky and Scooter - and keep two fosters at all times. I also take in up to three temporary fosters or bunnysit. Most weekends, I spend one day participating in an event.

I'm like some of you as well in that I never talk about animals around my friends unless they ask questions or it comes up, then I'm usually right in the middle of it :biggrin2:My friends sort of know I love animals, well my best friend does, and the others in our group know I have animals, put don't really know how craaaazy I am about them! Like my best friend has two rabbits (which are my Misty's parents), and I don't talk about rabbits unless she brings it up, cause she really couldn't care less about them. So it's rare!

I was once very obbesses with animals but when I learned how much money I was dropping on them I relized me and my husband dont even eat right.

So now they are animals and my family comes first does not mean there negleted in any way.

Just mean they dont get a bed when they have one. or dont get the best food anymore they get good food but I need to make sure I can get a savings acount going and prepare for life later on.

So they get good food they dont get crap in a bag or anything but I dont drop over 200 bucks on month on pets anymore either

I'm mostly obsessed with dogs. I wish there was a degree in dogs, I would pass anyday... I know a lot for someone my age about dogs, behaviors, nutrition, you name it! I get people asking me to help me with their dogs and things. But I feel like theres still so much to learn about them! I want to have a few more dogs or animals at home but my parents don't realy agree. I mean I want to add another dog to our family sometime soon but I got a deal for the end of 2010. Living with my parents and only just recently turned 14 doesn't help (parents always get the last say) But I know when i'm older I'll have a heck load of dogs and other critter at home. I wanna, I wanna help the animals. but being only 14... I am not old enough to volunteer at rescues and shelters, being 14 sucks sometimes! I think... I can call my self obsessed with dogs... In 24 years or so... You'll see a lady that has her own dog kennel and rescue center on your tv screen... She'll be me

I have always been obsessed with animals. As a child the wall in my room was covered in various animal pictures and I was always outside looking for reptiles. Animal Planet has always been my favorite channel even to this day. I have many books on nature, wildlife and domesticated animals. Our home is filled with a variety of fur-kids. Cats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Crested Gecko, Hamster, Rats, a Tropical Aquarium and Betta Fish. I'm very obsessed with Rabbits as well. I collect figurines and have framed rabbit paintings on my wall.

Yep, I'm obsessed. My husband gets really tired of hearing it actually. So, now I'm trying to make friends with people who actually care about the same things that I do.

Soon I'll be starting school to become a veterinary technician. Nothing feels more right than that.

omg yes! My teachers a couple years ago told my mom i was not normal because i loved animals so muchI dont have to worry about that know because im home schooled now lol

okk so i have

5 rabbits

1 iguana 1 turtle 2 horses 2 mini donkeys (ones prego:biggrin2

1 cow 9 goats 7 chickens 1 pot bellie pig 1 mini horse

and i lost count on my dogs and cats lol

In 2011 I'll be studying for a degree in vet. nursing, which is kind of like yourvet tech in the states. Like you nothing feels more right, I've wanted to do it for years and won't listen to anyone else when they say what I should do.

welcome to the club, im in school right now to be an animal health technician. im not sure if thats the same thing as a veterinary technician, but it seems like it. good choice!
