So when Neil and I didn't live together, and Igot Misty, Neil tolerated the fact that I had a rabbit and that hewould have to live in the same house with it.

When we moved into our house together and little Princess Misty workedher magic on him, he of course totally fell in love with her and talkedabout her constantly.

Then one day Neil said "we should go to that rabbit show and get another bunny there". :colors::colors:

And that's how we ended up with Charlie.Once we gotCharlie, he totally fell in love with him, and considers Charlie his(we have his and hers bunnies).

Then out of nowhere yesterday we're sitting around and he says "I waslooking at baby pictures of Charlie, and we should get another babybunny"

:shock::shock::shock:

:elephant::bunnydance::elephant::bunnydance:

Now realistically, if I pushed the idea, we would have another bunnysometime soon. But..... do I really want another bunnyyet? It took me so long to get Misty and Charlie to befriends. Misty reacts so badly to the smell of anotherrabbit, do I really want to start that back up again... if I can't getthe 3rd bunny to bond with both Misty and Charlie.. will the new babyget enough attention if I have to keep him in the basement away fromthe others?

Honestly, I think I probably won't because life is good, and I'm notyet over the memory of bonding Misty and Charlie... but it's SOtempting!! I torture myself by looking at the Humane Societysite almost daily. And I already know what I want... a BlackOtter Mini Rex *love sigh*. Oh man...

Wow, Neil has come a long way!

Sometimes I feel like I should have "left well enough alone".I got Toby after my two girls had already bonded. Despite mybest efforts, a happy threesome is NOT going to happen at my house andthat leaves Toby as the "odd man out".

I feel badly for him and often think about finding him agirlfriend. There's a grey Mini Rex girl at a local shelterthat I've had my eye on, but four rabbits is just TOO many for me (andfor Kevin).

That's exactly what I'm thinking ... leave wellenough alone... I'm happy with my 2 guys, but I want ALL the bunnies Isee. :)

Aw w w w. She's so sweet. I can't bareto see the pictures of bunnies at shelters, they all look so sad, and Ijust want to take them home!! I can see why you are dying toget her.

I vote that both of you go and get these bunnies. I bet they would end up being the best pets.

Hee hee - I emailed the shelter about mine andhaven't heard back yet. If she's spayed, I may take Toby downfor a blind date.

Do you think it would be safe? There are no other rabbitsthere and she's been there for almost two months, so I know she's notsick.

:bunny19:bunnyheartI:bunnydance::apollo:'m sadto say I have never gotten a bunny from a shelter (the next one I getwill be from there) however many people on here do bring their ownbunny to meet the new ones, like a date (hee hee). I'm sureit would be ok to do. Let us know how it goes.

I think its funny to come on here and see thateveryone here is just like me!! I am checking the localclassified site and the humane society and even petfinder all the timelooking for all the little critters that need homes. I gaveinto temptation on sunday and thats how I ended up with my new AFLgirl!! I live in an apartment right now so that keeps me undercontrol. I don't know whats going to happen when I get ahouse or even worse.... a farm!!! :D

Go and take the little critters home! All they want is a little love and some veggies!!

Haha... ok no, I have not gone. Andthe main reason is because I will take her home and I can't go throughthe whole bonding thing again yet. I stopped lookingat the Petfinder site about 3hours ago, because if therewasn't a snow storm right now... I would be there.

Nadia, let me just warn you that 3 turns to 4very quickly! I am a living testament to that one. Tumnus was here forabout 6 months with not much luck bonding with Basil and Max (grantedit was 3 boys) so then I started thinking...well, if he wont bond withthem, he needs a friend, and voila! another rescue comes along.

Looks like Snuggysmom is getting into this mindset as well. Just thought Id warn you, even fixed rabbits can multiply ;)

ACK!! No more suggestions Therm! LOL. Not helping me resist!!

Hah, Haley - I agree with you, that's another reason I amresisting. I know I will end up with 4 and that really is toomuch right now - especially this year as Neil and I will likely begoing on a 3 week honeymoon and as it is I'm not sure what we're goingto do with Misty and Charlie.

So sorry guys - I almost talked myself into it today, but I am going tostop looking so I don't feel bad... but I've already even named thelittle cutie-poop in the petfinder link. I would call her"Bella".

*sob*
