so i was gone all day today, so as soon as i came home i brought butsy out. she LOVES to get patted on the forhead, she could go for hours just laying there being stroked. as i was patting her, i noticed she was stopping me alot to lick my hands, i thought awe cute, she missed me ! so i continued patting her, and she wouldt let me. she would just lick my hand and fingers. enough was enough so i took my finger away and she was putting my finger in her mouth ! i thought she was trying to bite but she was just trying to put my nuckle in her mouth ?? was she trying to eat me? HELPPP. i just put her back. she has never been aggresiv with me. did i do something wrong?:?

me too it doesn't sound like aggression.I know with Yankee when she is mad you know it . She will growl , lunge, bite..if your finger is in her mouth it's because she is biting it...so maybe she wanted a treat or just was playing differently??

were you sweaty?? we had a bunny years ago that liked to lick the sweat off us...

She was trying to groom you, just as rabbits do to other rabbits they're especially close to. She probably thought that your knuckle was a particularly difficult fur condition to groom out. Nothing to worry about, so long as she wasn't biting.

My last rabbit, Scone, used to trim his own nails, and sometimes he would attempt to trim mine, too. He'd kiss my hand, and then nibble the ends of my fingers gently.
