    Digging in the litter box...

Ok, well, not yet neutered offers many answers.;) The digging being the main. He'll calm down a few weeks after being neutered. Big time. In the mean time, take some random poops and place in the litterbox, he'll start to get the idea. Marking will continue until he's neutered, though...

98 Ears Need Homes - Columbia, MD

Brandy, it would always make a difference. I would just get in touch w/ a rescue of your choice. When you find the one, you'll have no question, I think.. You're a great judge of character, I know..;)

    Wet fur

This doesn't really need to be in the Infirmary, for now, I'll move it to the reg rabbits online forum, plus, you'll get a few more responses there is anyone else has ideas that they've experienced.;) He may have overgrown molars or incisors that may need trimming and aren't wearing down...

bit of blood on spay line

I hate to say to make it smaller and not as tall, but if that's what it takes for just a couple days, that's what I'd do. Also, call the vet and make sure they don't need to see her to make sure the suture is still good.;) Spays are much more difficult than neuters in post care.:( Hugs, keep us...

    Digging in the litter box...

First off, I love your pic!:D You could take a cardboard box to fit his litterbox, cut around to size, so he can get in, but keep the sides all higher and place the litterbox in the box. That could help some. I know what a pain it is, my first rabbit did that, but he mostly tossed the darn...

    Rabbit litter box training.

For the time being, you can pick up the stray poops and place them in the box to help him get the idea. But, as mentioned above, until he's neutered, he'll likely keep doing this.;)

naturestee wrote: Thanks Angela. He's about 8 by my estimate. He doesn't have any trouble jumping around or getting in or out of the "new" box, which is a bit higher on the end than his last one. Haven't done the vet thing yet. I am honestly thinking he's a) being lazy or/and b) becoming...

Bunny just left a pile for hubby..

Well, we've gotten him a new, bigger literbox where he is fed in. He's already peed out of it. Coming to the conclusion that he is becoming incontinent...:(. He is acting fine, eating tons, even pooping in his box, just not always peeing in it. Also, he's got new sore hocks. Called the vet today...

    Bumps on rabbit's face?

Yeah, like Yield said, could be tuff of loose fur? Rex fur is quite fine as it is. You really need to try and trance her so you can feel around a bit to see if it is bumps or not.;) (And Yield, that text is horrific, very hard to read, lol.):P

    pre/post spay care

Why weren't you instruced to give her more pain meds tonight? Hmm. What did they give you? Metacam? I know that what they give after surgery can last awhile, but I don't think til morning... Glad she's resting. Sounds like she has enough to eat, lol.;)

Bunny just left a pile for hubby..

Love your comments guys, thanks, lol. Now, I have a new/old issue that has returned! He's peeing all over his cage again! He has a clean litterbox, and has had about 4 or more pee episodes tonight. We even cleaned the flooring of his cage and layed down newspaper. I honestly don't think it's a...

Bunny just left a pile for hubby..

Omg, so funny! I haven't posted about him, Snuffy, in so long. Hubby feeds him at night. While petting him, he left a nice, big pile o'poos, lol!!!:P He's been real good, but most recently, he's been pooing all over his cage. Peed last night while cleaning his litterbox, had to give him a...

    pre/post spay care

Yep, definitely block off the levels so she cannot jump. Also, you can use a sock and stuff it w/ raw rice, tie off at end. Warm in microwave, of course make sure there are no hot spots. Give to her to snuggle w/ for pain management.;) Just a little secret...;)
