Not using the bathroom in the cage, instead my floor!

His litter habits will improve if you have himneutered. Normally done around 3-4 months. It's important to find agood bunvet in your area.

finally got the woodypet litter, BUT......

You could experiment with a piece just to seehow much it swells up. My guess is a few pieces are not going to do anyharm, but you don't want a rabbit to be consuming much litter of ANYtype. You might put hay in the box over the litter & let himchew on that.

finally got the woodypet litter, BUT......

As the instructions indicate, dampening the litter is only for use in horse stalls. I'm sensitive to smells myself but you may be more so. I don't noticeany odor at all from Daisy's 26 X 32cm litter box unless i put my faceright up to it.

    help! litter is so expensive.

30 litres is about 25.5 pounds in this case, asindicated on my bag of Woody Pet litter. (a litre is a measure ofvolume, not weight, so how much a litre of a substance weighs dependson the substance,).

    Squirt bottle training?

This is not the kind of relationship i want with my rabbit. I simply arrange her environment so there's no mischief she can getinto, except approved mischief, like ripping up newspaper &cardboard boxes in her pen.:)

    What kind of bedding?

Many rabs prefer the bare cage floor, even if it's wire. There are a number of safe & inexpensive litters for rabbits, such as Woody Pet, which i use. Prices & selectionmay be better at farm & agricultural stores than pet shops..Thebest buys are those made from recycled newspaper...

A rab may feel a bit warm at 80 deg., &the air will be drier, but just make sure plenty of freshwater is available.

Hi. These are rush, according to the website. However most "rush" sold today is imitation, a heavy twistedpaper & not the natural plant fiber. If untreated it should beOK.

    What are your rabbits doing?

Daisy was just streaking across the pen with a "garland" of ripped-up newspaper around her neck...
