    This bonding thing is complicated!

Sounds like you're following the right steps, just be patient and give them time. I wouldn't leave them together alone yet for a while longer though.

    Post surgery update on Fraggles.

Sheeeew glad to hear some news on Frags, I was getting worried... I think you are going to have the same problem I have with miss fatty fat Willow at meal times. She gobbles her food in record time and then goes looking in the others bowls ( hense the " big bones" ). If you find a way around...

Does it ever get any easier?

Pets are people too to those that love them and all the grieving processes Still have to be gone through before you can truly move on. But time is the healer, and memories will sustain you and eventually bring you comfort. It will get better, you just have to trust in that.

    Bleeding nail

Thanks guys, I went and bought some of that stypic powder. I hope it works better than the corn starch! Luckily Willow doesn't appear to be mad at me. Tomorrow is Walter and Jaspers turn, hopefully I won't need that stuff!

Can they walk on hardwood floors?

My entire house is hard wood floors, they certainly dont like it but they can. I have a big area rug on the dining room floor so they do like to hang out on that. One thing I do notice.... Very few bunny 500's and binkys and I attribute that to the floors.

    Anthony bit me

When I first got my Walter, he would bite ( hard enough to draw blood!). But now, about a year later, he very rarely bites me anymore. I never gave up on him and continued to pet him and talk to him and pick him up and voila! He is soooo much better! He will bite or maybe more accurately, nips...
