Another bun of mine seems sick

I have no idea what is like weather wise in Kansas, but vegetation wise.. do you have grass growing? You can EASILY plant oat seeds and cut greens for your rabbits daily. Many seeds grow easily indoors and are safe plants for buns to eat like: oats, barley, sunflower, corn, saffflower...

Another bun of mine seems sick

If "HE" is the rabbit with white fur, and is for sure a male. that is a VERY overweight rabbit. Needs to eat less and get more exercise.

Have any of you seen these symptoms? Please help!

what happened to my comment? I watched this. commented and said...look for a heart murmur or e.cunniculi. seen and heard of rabbits who do this that struggled with similar behaviour.

Best Way To Store A Bale of Hay

Hay needs to breathe, so needs to be kept in an open container so it can breathe. Some place free of air borne moulds to be best of your ability... so no damp places, DRY is best.

    Something is possible happening ?

why not instead of guessing what is going on with them.. why don't you just bring them to the vet? It doesn't sound like mites, unless they have gone really deep and caused an infection. You'll need meds to clear that up.

    What is this worm thing?!

check your rabbit over thoroughly... like very thoroughly. It may have just been coincidence.

    Breed of my bunn?

he has the build of a lionhead cross without any mane. Could easily be a singlemane cross. At 2 lbs at six months that'll be about as big as he gets. so he's in the ball park for size. If the employee guessed that, I'm guessing they get a lot of that mix in their store so she's learned to...

    Safety info for kits

taking kits away from mom generally does more good than harm. :) keeps kits safe, helps you to know if mom is feeding them, etc. So either remove the kits... or block off access to ramp.

    Gender oops! Pregnant?

so you have until october 17th to see if kits arrive, She has a visible belly, guess would be in the next week. If you give her hay daily you don't need to put a nestbox in until you see her carrying around her hay. :) if she's pooping in the nestbox it's way too early.

    Cut Off Age for Fixing?

just remember this... not all bunnies get along (just like with people). when bringing in a second bun be alert to illnesses.

    Gender oops! Pregnant?

first off...no need to be terrified if a rabbit reabsorbed her litter. Life happens.. things move on. I don't see any definitive timelines so can't really advise you. If it's been six weeks since she was bred...she's not bred, just fat. if it's been less than four weeks since she was with...

Just found out he is a she

part of the problem in sexing buns is that bunnies, just like with people, mature at different rates. I've had six week old kits be terrorizing their male litter mates (and be ready to breed at three months of age) and others ... that just aren't showing anything truly definitive by the time...

    Help, lump on bunny's face!

wrap her very securely in a blanket. You want it to heal from the inside out.

4 week old rabbit bought from pet shop! HELP!!

four week old kits do not need milk. If kits are 17 days old and lose momma, they do just fine on oatmeal, pellets and hay. a four week old kit will do just fine with pellets and hay. DO NOT give greens etc at this age. if you want you can give uncooked kitchen oatmeal as an energy boost.

    Coccidia and Med side effects?

as long as she is eating her hay and eating some pellets, should be just fine.

What breed is my rabbit? Limp ear?

she looks like a lop mix of some sort. Exactly what mix we can't say. But definitely not a lionhead. If she's 2.5 months old, she'll be a big rabbit. I'd be double checking her gender.. if they lied about the mix, they may have erred on the gender as well.

    Skittish and Non Cuddly Bunnies

the spaying aside, the chances of bonding all three rabbits together isn't particularly high. Your best bet is to let the two bondeds out for run around time, and then put them up while you let out the third.

    Mystery Breeding?!

they CAN'T breed with wild cottontails, but if you have a wild domestic rabbit running around that'll be your culprit. The kits will be fine if she takes care of them. What to do about the cats I can't advise you. the danger period will be at 4-5 weeks when they start to wander away...
