    Bucky’s Golden Years

If he hasn't exercised much you do need to be careful. I wouldn't make him do agility, just running around is good enough. Good luck at the vet on Thursday!

    Bunny on antibiotics

If she is a good hay eater limit the pellets to 1 tbsp a day. Why antibiotics?

Miley may have a new bunny friend!

Which rescue centre? Do they have several single males they could try?

    Arthritis in senior bunny...tips?

Are you in London? I highly recommend taking her to the Beaumont hospital in Camden. BSAH Registration Form - General Practice - Small Animal - Royal Veterinary College, RVC Several great rabbit vets there. Has she been tested for EC?

Vision, Smell & Sense Problems (RIP)

I would ask the vet about EC. So many older bunnies succumb to it and sometimes the only symptom is rapid weight loss. Well done getting her to 11! I see you are in the UK, if you need a good rabbit vet have a look here: Recommended Rabbit-Friendly Vets | Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund (RWAF)

    Trimming black nails

Watch this video, it's brilliant. But you must follow all of the instructions to the letter.

    Trimming black nails

Best to cut just a little bit. And use the 'press press clip' technique. Put the scissors where you intend to clip and press down but don't cut. If you are too close to the quick bunny will react and you know you need to go a bit further away.

    Mental/behavioral effects on health

Yes, you need to get her spayed. Bonding can be very stressful at the best of times, you don't want to make it even harder trying to bond a bunny without spaying and waiting 8 weeks. They need to be spayed for health reasons too.

    Something has injured her nose

They can't get to each other through bars, can they? If they can you might have to reinforce the barrier. Get some F10 ointment but if it doesn't get better soon go to the rabbit vet.

    Meet Smokey and Apollo

Cute bunnies! Don't put any sort of collar on your babies, it's super dangerous.

    Dutchess smelly rear end

This is an emergency especially if she can‘t pee properly. They really need to see her right away.

    Dutchess smelly rear end

So sorry about the severe sludge. I think our vets would have done a bladder flush, especially as she had to be anaesthetised anyway. Hope she feels bet soon.

    Dutchess smelly rear end

Use water bowls, not bottles, only add a tiny amount, half a teaspoon of juice. Give an additional bowl with plain water. Both carrot tops and kale are quite high in calcium so perhaps not a good idea to feed daily if she has sludge. Hope she gets better soon.

    Am I neglecting my bunnies?

Great you plan to have them free roaming. You don't need a cage, I would just get a foldable pen for the rare occasions they need to be in a smaller area. Something like this (ideally a couple of them as one is quite small, even for just a few hours): Zippi Guinea Pig Playpen Starter Pack -...

    Am I neglecting my bunnies?

Those cages are too small and they are very dificult Those cages are too small and very difficult to clean. Much better to build a large enclosure and have some hiding places with two exits in there. Check here for good advice on housing: Indoor Housing

Bunny is missing fur under her chin

I would suspect dental problems. Drooling can cause this. The acidity of the saliva affects the skin. Take her to a good rabbit vet for a dental check-up.

    Rabbit has damp nose

Fans can help but don't direct them to the bunnies and make sure they can get away from the draught if they want.

My rabbit like to put their feet in the water bowl, is this a concern?

Don't allow any visits until 8 weeks after both have been neutered. Move the water bowl out of of the toilet.

    Getting a friend for Robbie

Best to get him neutered first and then wait a couple of months before you try to bond him with a neutered bunny.
