Has she had a false pregnancy and/or tried to build a nest lately? Any sign of ongoing wetness there, greenish fur, or signs of flaky or crusty skin?

I would suspect dental problems. Drooling can cause this. The acidity of the saliva affects the skin. Take her to a good rabbit vet for a dental check-up.

She is spayed so I'm not sure if she can have a false pregnancy. She has started to nest in her litter box with her hay. Bit of a runny nose and wet mouth but no green fur or dry skin. She is a bit odd because we give her a blanket but she sleeps in her litter box and likes to rest her chin on the edge of it all the time.

The spot is too high up for fur plucking, I'd rather think it has to do with damp conditions there. Skin doesn't need to look off for dampness causing fur loss so I too would sugest a dental check up.
