Something has injured her nose

When I got up this morning I noticed my rabbit had a wound on her nose. She had been free roaming for the night (her and my young male swap every 12 hours-ish).

I've searched for anything sharp. I found some garden wire, sticking off a cupboard that I'm pretty sure she couldn't have reached, but I've moved it just incase...
I can find nothing else sharp at her level or above. I have assumed it's an injury, but could it be anything else?

My vet isn't open yet so I cleaned it with cooled down boiled water. I was worried about discomfort and infection so I applied a tiny amount of germolene after google said it was safe. Is what I did OK?

Does she need to go to the vet with this now or should I take her if it worsens?

I probably wouldn't use germolene just in case she licks it off, I think bathing it with cooled boiled water as you did is a good idea. You can also add a tiny bit of salt to the water to help keep it free of infection and promote healing. Leucillin is also really good for this sort of thing, you can get it from Pets at Home or on Amazon, it's in a little purple bottle

Is she vaccinated at all?

They can't get to each other through bars, can they? If they can you might have to reinforce the barrier. Get some F10 ointment but if it doesn't get better soon go to the rabbit vet.

No they can't get to eachother as I've put the cage on a stand since Br'er kept hopping on the top of it.

Thanks very much for your advice, I will get some f10. It is healing ok now
