Wounded by shaving machine

Help!! Haru has matted fur around her tail and I took her to the groomer to get it shaved, a minute ago the groomer called me and told me that her skin was wounded by the shaving machine
I saw it and it doesn’t look good and there is blood, what should i do!
Do I leave it to heal by itself? or should I do something so it doesn’t worsen?

They took her to the vet upstairs, the vet told me that he’s going to stitch her, I’m getting very worried

I'm sorry to hear that this has happened. Is this a groomer who was experienced with rabbits and do you have any way of knowing if the vet is experienced with rabbits? We don’t have a lot of rabbit owners here in my country, so the groomer is not 100% experienced with rabbits, but me, my cousin, and my friend are always taking our rabbits to that groomer.
The vet is the same, he’s not 100% experienced with rabbits, but he’s the best vet that can deal with rabbits in my city.
I had a panic attack at the vet and was very tired, so I slept the whole day, I just woke up and she looks a lot better, she’s still hiding behind the couch, but she’s eating and chased me for treats, so I don’t think that she’s in pain. Thank you guys for your prayers

Hey guys, haru chewed the stitches and the wound looks very big and deep
I’m worried that it might turn into abscess or something
I’ll take her to the vet today, but the problem is that she wouldn’t stop licking/chewing on it and I can’t put a cone or a soft collar on her
When i did that after her surgery she started to bang her head on the wall to gat it off and I don’t want her to get hurt
What should i do
And I’m not sure if the dark area is a scab or if the wound is molding

You could try a pet shirt, but if that doesn't work then you have no choice but to use a cone. You could try a soft cone, but she does need something to prevent her from messing with the wound. It needs time to heal properly.

The vet will clean up the wound and probably need to restitch it. Depending on how bad it is, she may also need to be put on a rabbit safe antibiotic.

I took her to the vet and he restitched her and gave her antibiotic (amoxicillin)
I just looked it up and it says that it could be fatal
Now I’m panicking what should i do!! Please help

Amoxicillin should not be given via oral administration (i.e. given by the mouth, like a liquid medicine). It can be given via injection. This is from MediRabbit:

But it was injected badly and some of it was spilled on her fur and she licked it to clean it
I tried to clean it with damp tissue as much as I can

A tiny bit due to injection mishap is probably fine -- I used to give one of my rabbits this med via injection and it would happen. If it happens in the future, best to wipe it off yourself though, just as you did!

Are you going to be giving injections at home? Something to keep in mind is the size of the needle. If you find the plunger is getting stuck (i.e. it won't move), the needle might be too small, in which case you should ask your vet to give you a larger gauge needle.

How much time does it take a wound to heal enough that it won’t open even if she ate all of the stitches?

It depends how deep and wide open it is. A deeper wider wound will take longer to heal. If it's just a surface wound and doesn't go deep, if she doesn't keep messing with it and irritating the skin, it can heal fairly quickly.

So umm.. she ate the stitches again yesterday, and it was very late I couldn’t take her to the vet, but today she’s doing tons of zoomies and binkys, doesn’t that mean that she’s okay? can i not take her to the vet and let the wound heal by itself?
