Why does my rabbit dig at my clothes? He will hop on my lap then start digging at my pants or shirt?

My bun is a 3 yr and shy. She has not had any training, or played with.
I sit on the floor. Put treats on my lap. (To teach to sit on lap) She will dig at my jeans asking for more treats.

He wants to say I DIG you, please lift your hands now I am ready for grooming. My buns do that when sitting on my chest and I stop grooming them for a minute, they dig me and say hey don't stop keep petting

Lucas is a consummate digger, and he digs to tell me he doesn't like where I am, and I need to move out of his way. Although, rarely, it's just to get my attention for pets! (He normally has more pets than he can stand! )
