Hi, I was just wondering how you guys keep your rabbits! Do you keep them in a cage, let them roam the house, give them a room to themselves? Just wondering :)

I have three buns: a neutered male and female pair that have NIC pens, but have 5+ hours of free time in the house daily and I have an un-neutered male upstairs as a house rabbit till he's fixed and can be with the others. He lives in my spare bathroom, but is only gated in there at night time. Otherwise he has the run of the whole middle floor (living room, hallway, bathroom, kitchen area).

I have one rabbit, Peppy who is a Holland Lop. I doubt he's even 4lbs. He has a C&C cage, it's 3 x 3 with a 2x1 level.
I'm moving soon, and hope to get him his own room one day. :)

Our two buns get run of the lounge/dining/kitchen area as well as out enclosed outdoor courtyard while we're home :)

Aha well thanks! i was thinking about maybe a change for my rabbits, they currently have the basement to themselves and go into a pen for the night. I was thinkin about maybe bringing them upstairs so I can be around them more but Im not sure. They naturally love the basement because it is their territory , but they enjoy exploring upstairs! Mmmm, maybe I'll bring them up for some time every day?

I have 20 living in the barn, in cages. They get time out in Xpens for an hour or so a day. I have 1 in the house, who has her cage and then free-roams when we can keep an eye on her.

All my bunnies are in crates in the living room. They get to see us every day. They have an x-pen to run in (for the babies) and the adults get to run freely in the living room and kitchen.

K:)

We have two. They live in their own cages in our home office. They have free range of the house (except our bedroom and the spare room) when we are home. Our girl is getting spayed this week. Once she heals up from surgery we will make them a NIC pen so they can live together. They hate being apart.

Yeahh, Hopefully I can bring the rabbits onto the middle floor permanantly because I am usually busy and get very little time to go downstairs and I feel like they are isolated down there. :)

I have two girls that live outside, They are big girls and terribly messy so my allergies really cannot cope with them. One has a double hutch, while they other is free roam. That will all be changing though and their livingquarters will be revamped so that they can have more equalaccess to the yard.

My baby boy is inside right now, in my craft/pet room. I'm quite enjoying having him inside right now but I am really struggling with my allergies so that is the determining factor. Plus, I would like for him to bond with one of the girls. We'll see what time brings though. Never say never. :p

Awww, Karam and Iman love going outside but unfortunately theres a loose dog running aroung our neighborhood and Im terrified to let them out so they havent been out for some time.

Mine are in cages in my friend's garage, she lets them out in a big dog kennel when ever she can. I'll hopefully be switching them all to NIC Cages with linoleum on the floor when they come home...will be about a year at least though.

Originally I had Ash in her crate and when I got an xpen I set it up so she'd have that area to play in with occasional free roaming when I'm home... unfortunately it seems like little Miss has other ideas and has learnt how to get out of the xpen and for the second morning in a row have woken to find she's out and free roaming. She's got full range of the house (except the two bedrooms at the front of the house which are closed off to all because they're full of stuff) and where the kitties go she goes.

I'm also thankful that 3 out of my 4 cats don't mind Ash at all, my old girl Iris just dislikes everything with 4 legs in 'her' house (she's been like that since I got her back almost 6 months ago, some idiot cat napped her and dumped her who knows where and she spent a year living in the wild) but Iris sleeps in my room so no worries there.
