I dunno. I wonder why he'd be scratching so hard if it were just normal itchies. Cutting his nails may help. I guess if the baby oil hasn't done the trick it probably isn't mites.
No, but when the vet checked his ears, he saw that he had a possible ear mite inside the canal. Well Prince's immune system is fighting them so there was no need to start treatment. Which actually saved me money. Yeah some rabbits can fight off ear mites if their immune system is real good and apparently Prince's immune system is really good. I was amazed, but I still watch him for any signs of more ear mites. So far so good!
