Flu is gone now!!!

Got Lexi in for Xrays on her foot yesterday..... if they don't find something I'll be taking her to a specialist..... this has gone on wayyyy too long! plus her tailbone is still hurting.... I think the two are related!

I hope Stan and Jim are feeling better! (who else was sick?)

Everyone needs to pop in here and there! we miss ya all!

Glad to hear the flu is gone, Pennie!

I woke up a little after 6 to the phone ringing. The neighbor guy had been careflighted to the heart hospital as he's had 2 heart attacks. Not sure his state right now. ButI know if he's to have surgery, I could be driving a vehicle full of children and family to the hospital. (Thank goodness for a GPS!) The neighbors aren't just 'neighbors' but more like family. When the oldest child was notified that his 'father' wasn't his biological father, he came over to talk to me immediately. So he'smy second bro and his 3 siblings come along with thepackage.

I'm supposed to be working at my grandparents' tv store today, but just might call Grandma and tell her I'd like to be close around here. Grandpa's to have shoulder surgery on Tuesday so is in major pain right now. So I'm just over there to be his security blanket.

When it rains, it pours. Great Uncle's sister passed away yesterday morning. :?

Still down with the flu.

Went to work yesterday and ended coming home after a few hours.
Stayed home today.

I'm going back to bed soon.
Maybe try some tea and toast....donno if I should.

Starting to recover, but still tired and sore. Feel really hungry, as I couldn't eat much for the lastfour days.
Drank lots of Ginger Ale, and slept most of the time.

Worked everyday and it really drains me of energy. Not too many people can cover for me and we are busywith lots of catching up to do. Besides I have to pick up a coworker who comes to work with me in the early mornings. After a few hours, you do want to crawl back home and sleep.

Had to skip a photography class:X and a meeting while I was sick.

I am recouperating from an eye infection that spread to both eyes. Last Wednesday, I couldn't open my left eye when I woke up. Couldn't soak it open, couldn't pry it open and it hurt like heck! Drove my self to the eye Doctor (with one eye open). It was real nasty. All swollen and oozing this yellow stuff... He said I got a bacterial infection, probably from one of the kids at school, who sneezed or coughed in my face. But it was someone who was either carrying or had pneumonia or bronchitis. (Lovely!)

Got antibiotic drops, but by Sunday it spread to the other eye... EEEEWWWW! Saw the doctor Monday, got new drops, it's now clearing up. Just found out one of my 4th grades has walking pneumonia (and he has less than stellar personal hygeine...). I'm tired of my eyes hurting and I'm tired of squinting to read the computer...

I haven't been able to work at the school job in a week. My other boss let me come in a few hours a day... (no one else works with me... so I couldn't spread to anyone...)

Ack!!! How could I have missed this!!

I thought you'd been a little low key lately, so sorry, didn't realize it was this bad!! (You really have to complain more around here!)

LOL! Thanks Sas... both eyes are open now. Vision is getting better, still a littel blurry... they still hurt. I tried to keep up... hope I didn't miss much. :biggrin2:
