What rabbit cc should i get ?
I bought a rabbit cc previosly and ended up being terible for them , so i wanted to know which one to get .

Any reputable brand of critical care for rabbits is fine IF it is only used when needed. None will be "terrible" for a rabbit unless used improperly or when not indicated.
Okay.
It was terrible .
Ingredients:
Glucose syrup and whey

This is for reptiles, birds and mammals I don't think you need it at all

CCF Critical Care Formula is a complementary feed for reptiles, birds and mammals. It comprises of a unique blend of energy supplying glucose with protein concentrate, and can be used in all species.
CCF has been developed for the nutritional support of birds, mammals and reptiles whose metabolism may be disturbed, in instances such as loss of appetite, starvation, surgery and periods of recovery.
The formulation is a mixture of selected short chain maltodextrins (derived from corn starch) and a protein concentrate supplemented with amino acids. CCF should be made up freshly each time, it has great benefits over commonly used liquid formulations of easily digestible carbohydrates in that it is a powder and can be stored until a small amount is needed. CCF in powder form remains stable for months (provided that the container is sealed) and also provides a suitable protein source which counters the hypoproteinaemic states of catabolism, which in birds especially is a major problem.
Instructions for use: For administering directly CCF can be mixed at a rate of 1 scoop (5ml) plus 3-5 scoops of water. Birds: Use 1 scoop per 200g of animal being supplemented per day. If crop tubing, we recommendto split into 2-3 feeds a day.
As a simple supplement for animals needing extra energy, CCF can be added to the drinking water at a rate of 1 scoop per 200ml. For use in any other exotic species please contact our customer service team.

You know, I honestly feel so bad disturbed and frustrated, horrified by your threads and I feel that many people on this site feeling same, you are trying treats, vegs, different critical cares when you don't really need them all, what you need is to get enough hay and feed your rabbits regularly and don't give them some strange treats or something that would upset their bellies.

It is not funny, they are not toys, you spend all your money on treats and then you don't have money to buy hay so your rabbits have no hay for 4-5 days, what'd you expect? You wouldn't survive on candies if you get no other food, would you?

I feel really bad for your animals, poor rabbits.

what is critical care..? i feel like this is important...

Unless your vet has SPECIFICALLY told you to use critical care and recommended a specific brand to use or you are an absolute expert on rabbit health with a rabbit who has indicated for it in the past, I wouldn't play around with it. CC is typically force-fed, which is very stressful and is not a sustainable method of feeding. It can be great for GI stasis or a supplement while under a vet's guidance, but force-feeding an animal without a really good reason is a bad move. Are you running all this by a rabbit-savvy, straight-talking vet? And then actually listening to what they are telling you?

i don't think you were talking to me but thank you for clearing up what cc is... it sounds horrible.

Also you posted a photo of your rabbit in other thread and I just noticed that she has treats with grain there, that is not good especially when she has constant problems with her stomach. Grain is not good at all it is best to avoid any food with grain, muesli type food like flakes etc.

I'm not a huge fan of the stuff, I've found it horrible too :( @zuppa wrote a far better description. There are certainly times when it is necessary, but I wouldn't give it unless I was out of better options. It's good stuff to know though! :)

CC is for Critical Care, rabbits can get sick and stop eating, then you need to force-feed them because it is important that their gut moving all the time, otherwise they can get blockage called GI stasis and die within a couple days.

If they eat hay it helps with moving stuff. You don't need to feed critical care without your vets prescription, if your rabbit is on healthy diet he shouldn't have any problems with stomach

I'm not feeding cc right now but I've heard I need it in my rabbits first aid kit.
