I was wondering what plant this is and if my rabbits can or cannot eat it.

Broadleaf Plantain? That would be perfectly fine.

My take is that if they eat it if there is a choice of a lot of other greens it's ok, I stopped reading lists of "toxic" plants long ago.

I have the narrow leaf growing in my yard, and my rabbits LOVE it!

We have the same plant here, it's called "teeleht" in estonian (directly translates to tea leaf/leaf by the road). My boys never had an issue with them.

Oh my gosh! My yard is filled with these more than dandelions. This is great to know!!!

As a side note, narrowleaf plantain is one of the safe greens that don't need much getting accustomed to it, it is a very good option when there is any digestion trouble, to get them eating. As are leaves of roses, apple trees, blackberry and so on. It's always good to have a stash of those dried for emergencies.

I don't think broad leaf plantain is much different. It's very resistent to be trodden upon and grows more likely under difficult conditions.
