What is your opinion on the brand Kaytee for food?

My neighbor gave me some Carrot Alfalfa nibbles from the brand Kaytee, that his rabbit did not like. I read the ingredients and did not know what some of them were. Out of curiosity I looked at other Kaytee foods for rabbits and I feel that some of the ingredients are questionable, so I was just wondering what people thought of Kaytee food.

Also, it may be just me who thinks some ingredients are questionable, as Oreo gets an almost all natural diet.

There's ALL kinds of red flags in there. I wouldn't give that guano to LB. It'd go right in the trash.

Actually, if it says Kaytee on it, I believe most any knowledged person walks the other way.

Okay, I'll stay away from Kaytee!

I don't think that everything from Kaytee is bad, but if it has added sugar or other added things, I would stay away.

Personally I would not give your bunny those treats, especially if your rabbit is older than 6 months. If your rabbit is older than 6 months they should not eat any alfalfa hay. Instead of store bought treats you should just give your bunny a small piece of fruit , (Mine loves bananas), as fruit is alot more healthy.
I do agree with Mariam & Theo, because I think some things from the brand kaytee are fine but before you buy from kaytee be sure to check the ingredients.

I agree with @Mariam+Theo and @Bunnylover14 about Kaytee. It's not a very reliable brand but some products are okay. I've seen some reports of getting spicy peppers or dried up veggies that aren't safe for rabbits in packages that have nothing to do with those. Not sure if this is true, but my advice would be to be wary on Kaytee products, not all are bad but the brand itself doesn't seem to know much about rabbits. Giving some small fruit is a good treat! Maybe I was a little harsh, however each of the other replies say be wary. When the chances are good of other brands being within reach of the Kaytee, my thoughts are why wouldn't I support a company that has the creature in my care's best interest with quality ingredients rather than a company:
