What is this lettuce and is it safe for my rabbit?

This is a very common lettuce available in stores in Japan. I can't find a direct reference for it in English. In Japanese it is called Sunni lettuce. Here is a link to a picture: サニーレタス - フォトライブラリー
Is it just red leaf lettuce or a different variety? If so, is it safe to give to my bun?

That looks like red leaf lettuce. If it is, it is safe for your bunnies.

I agree. That's probably red leaf lettuce. Just don't just feed that alone because variety is good

Looks like a variety of Romaine lettuce which is alright to give--not much nutritional value so you'll need to supplement it with other vegetables.
