Just want to see what would be the best for my rabbit. I have heard a lot of debate, but I just wanted to know what you are using. Thanks.

I use woody pet in my litterboxes. It really does absorb wonderfully, and its relatively cheap.

I use Carefresh, but for 2 buns with 3 litters it gets a little expensive.

Let's see...in the indoor cages (used in wintertime and on hot days, like today) I keep old towels/baby change blankets on the floor of the cages (with some newspaper under that), and in the corner I have litter boxes with Magnum Horse Bedding - it's the same thing as Woody Pet...pelleted animal bedding, very absorbant and clean. In the outdoor cages I have wire on the floor of the runs and simply clean out from underneath, and in the hutch part of the outdoor cages I have vinyl floor tiles stuck to the surface of the wood floor, and over that I place a combo of newspaper with straw over top. It seems to work quite well for my two. :)

I have peg board on the bottom of Oswald's cage (covering the plastic) and I use Yesterday's News in his litter box. I'm fairly pleased with it, it obsorbs odors, and needs changing less than the carefresh (from what I've found). I'll try woody pet if I can ever find it in my area, but for now I'm happy with Yesterday's News (and I believe Oswald is too).

I use this wood pellet horse stall bedding:

It's really great! I used to use CareFresh, but had to change it much more often, and it just didn't have the odor control I would have liked..not only that, but the wood pellet litter is MUCH cheaper, and has MUCH better absorption! We used to use the med. sized CareFresh packages for about $6, and the 30litre bags of Best Pine are the same price!! It's WONDERFUL!! :)

Here's a picture of what it looks like outside the bag. We put it in a $2 Home Depot bucket so it's easier to access. :)

For litter purposes I use Woody pet. All of my buns are litter trained.

For bedding I've used several things including Carefresh, kiln dried aspen shavings, shredded paper, and baby blankets.

My bunnies give "two ears up" for the blankies :D

In my indoor cage I have newspaper with hay on top. My boy is still very young and while not litter trained as such, usually goes in one end of the cage. I also have a square of carpet for him to sit on. I change the newspaper and hay every couple of days. In my outdoor hutch I have a litter tray with newspaper in it which is changed daily (I recycle all the newspaper) and a handfull of hay for the rabbit to nibble on while she goes. In her box she has paper and hay and old bits of towel and fleece to snuggle into.

Bedding? What Bedding?

Pebbles just lays on the bare plastic cage bottom.
Keep everything simple and it's easy to clean.

For the litter, I tried everything. From newspaper, wood shavings, Carefresh, YN ....
It took me the longest time to find WoodyPet.
So now I say some Wood Pellets and WoodyPet are the best in my experience.

I use three litter boxes, and I switch them out three times a day.
At the end of the day, I clean all three at once, by scooping out the dirty
and adding new pellets to the mix. I never toss the whole thing out.

My litter box consists of a plastic tray inside a higher cardboard box and a screen.
The screen keeps the poos out of the Wood Pellets, so I don't have to
throw out cleanunused Pellets.
The cardboard box prevents Pebbles from peeing over the edge, and it
gives her something to rip and chew on.
I replace the cardboard boxes every week.

Rainbows! :)

i use woody pet, and for Alex's cage i put shredded newspaper on top of woody pet, because he wont potty on it because it hurts his feet.

Turbo & Tinas litter box (w/woody pet)takes up about 1/3rd of their cage. I put a straw mat on the other sidewhich they like to also chew on. Under their food dish I have adishtowel and yesterday added 2 more dishtowels to cover the rest ofthe grate.

The bottom of their cage has a tray which gets cleaned when I do their litter boxes. On top of the tray is a grate.

I use Carefresh as well, but as everyone says itcan get a little expensive. That's all the pet stores around me carry.I was interested in trying the Woodypet, but I don't even know where Iwould begin to look for it. I was also interested in the horse stallstuff, but a feed story in the city? Not likely. Oh well. I'll keeplooking I guess. :)Loki only gets the good stuff. He refusedto acknowledge anything else. Spoiled bunnay.

All of my cages are wire bottom so bedding is not feasible.
My bunnies have blankies that they sleep and snuggle with.

When I did use bedding I used kiln-dried aspen shavings, Carefresh, or plain shredded paper.

In the litter pans I use Woody Pet.
