:confused:Hi...
I’m picking up some young rabbits next week and I’m planning on housing them outside... I wish they could live inside but I’m not allowed to have any more pets inside so these guys are going outside.
Im going to build a hutch this weekend in a location that seems good because it’s protected from predators by a 9 foot fence and it’s pretty close to my house not to mention it’s near a shed that I will transport the hutch to during harsh winters anyway... there’s one problem, I have one really stubborn...annoying ....invasive .....goat. I’m going to anchor the hutch to the wall of the shed so I’m not completely worried about him knocking over the hutch ,but he’s a lonely goat and he’s became so attached to me that he bleats when I leave his pen if he’s alone in it or not ...will my goats bleating give the bunnies a heart attack? he doesn’t do it at night just when it’s time to eat or I leave his cage in the day...

my rabbits hear gunshots coming from about 3 miles away every day, some of them it makes them kinda nervous and the others have gotten used to it, I also have had my jumpy and fast cocker spaniel jump into one of my hutches with my rabbit in it and it startled her (I had turned to grab something and I didn't know he was outside), I got him out immediately and she seemed fine. I think it depends on the rabbit and if they get used to it. But I would get your goat another goat friend to help him cope when you are not there or when you leave.

I think that it may startle them at first, but if it is continuous and you don't feel stressed and scared that they'll be scared (they can feed off your energy) then it should be fine. They'll get used to it and know its not something to fear. My buns are used to loud noises I make all the time. :D

I guess it does depend on the rabbit...and about my goat..when I took him to the stock show he made friends with the other goats but when I tried to leave him he started to cry and embarrassed me in front of everyone

How old are they? How many? Are they male? female? How will you keep them separate to prevent fighting if they aren't already fixed and already bonded?

Just asking because I don't know you or your background or if you are aware that multiple rabbits don't naturally get along -- not past hormones anyway.

Gonna be around 6weeks old,
two females from the same litter
If we discover aggression another hutch will be built.

Separate hutch will be built if we see aggression
