I was just wondering. I know we have the names of the bunnies thread, and I was wondering what names people had pondered on for their buns, but then decided on something different.

Pogo and Polo were going to be Drop and Roll because one used to roll on its side and the other kept falling out the hutch.

Dusk and Dawn were going to be Huw and Ray (as in Huw-ray.... or Hooray), but I told my brother that was unfair to the buns, lol.

So what comical names did you bypass before deciding on the real name?

And I made a typo in the title of the thread :( Can someone change it please.

None here. I am stuck on human names. Though Connor was supposed to be a girl so his name was Pandora Gabrielle. When we found out he was a boy we called him Comando Pando and Pandoro till we figured his name.

I almost named my Jersey Wolly Hammy. He looked like a little hamster when I got him. I named him Toy instead. He was so small he looked a little toy. He lived for almost 10 years.

Uhm whenI got Pepsi her name actually was Slippery Pete Ann Peterson. I changed it to Petey. Then the gender fairy visited.......

Ozzy was already named although I was thinking I would change his name to go with Pepsi, Like Diet haha, or Cola. But I was nice.

lol, that appealed to my sense of humour :D

I like all these names. Keep them coming.

lets see. . .

herman was almost (and this is a directly quote from my list of maybes):

poet, lyric, todd, roscoe, herman, toast

personally, i think herman was the best fit for him. . . although i love the name toast for a rabbit

if i remember correctly, i had wanted to name winnie lexi. . .then brooklyn, then dixie. . . but she only liked winnie. . . then one day i got mad at her and winnie just didn't work, so i called her winchesca. . . so that is her formal name. . . but we call her winnie or "silly rabbit"

Whe we got Bracon we thought she was a male, so my dad wanted to call him lester :s, he still does.

And he and my mum now call Warren, Blueberry.

Yep their wierd:D

Ollie was almost named Episky (Ep-iss-key) for reasons I seem to have forgotten, though that is now his middle name :D It was my sister's idea in the end to call him Ollie, and I think it's the best name possible.

When I got Pippin I was not sure what I was going to call him, so for his temporary name my sister started calling him....Heffnurgal.
Don't ask me why lol!

When we first got Bernie I wanted to name him Bunjamin or Bunifer if he was a girl. I don't know why....

I wanted to call Louis Worm but my boyfriend wouldnt let me :(

Grace was called Maisy for 2 days before being changed to Gracie-Lou Freebush -- we thought that she was a boy when we had seen her and not bought her home yet, I dont know why, and we were going to name her Oscar

Pogo and Polo were going to be Drop and Roll because one used to roll on its side and the other kept falling out the hutch.
LOL, that's a good one! :D

Carmel almost had the name "Bobber" because of her extreme head bobbing in new surroundings.
