I dont have much time during week days to playwith Lola. She's a good bunny, butI cant leave her loosearound the room unsupervised. Plus she likes to bite on my furniture. Iused Ivory soap around the edges of my furniture so she could stopchewing, but she wont. I know i need to build her or buy some kind ofplay pen for her, but is there anythingI can do in themeatime? Helpppppppppp...she stays in a cage all day. Its heartbreaking.

Aren't you home even for an hour? When you'rewatching TV, reading, doing homework, eating, etc., let your bunny outto play. You don't have to be down on the floor with him the wholetime. Just being out of the cage will be a nice treat for him. I'm inthe same situation as you, and that's how I solve that problem.

If you are home for even an hour during the day,let her out for some play time. If not, perhaps you could buy or builda larger cage for her? If not, try to provide plenty of chew toys forher so she has something to do.

If it's any consolation, all three of my rabbits tend to sleep most ofthe day, when I would be at work if I did work. They are out of thecage from the time we get up until we go to bed, but Chompers and Abbyboth tend to spend the whole day sleeping in there, only coming out inthe evening for play and running around. Valuran spends his days lazingon his blanket. What I'm getting at is, she's probably spending most ofthe day sleeping, so try to not feel too bad. :)

Yeah, i do spend some time at home and i do lether run about all of the night. I just feel so bad that shes in therefrom 9 am till 7:30 pm. She has alot of toys, i just wanted to know howother people cope with this. Im sure you guys work and/or go to school.I just love animals and i hate to see them caged up all day. Plus ifeel like she shy when i get home. Thanks for the advice...she probablydoes sleep most of the day...

My bunnies are most active in the evening time.

They get up when I come downstairs "WAKE UP BUNNIES!!" for their moringroutine of feedin, watering, and sone ear/nose rubs. Since I don't havethe time to take all 7 out, I interact with them while they're in theircages or when they sneak out and hop down the table to visit the otherbuns. By the time I leave for work, they have all settled back down fora nap.

In the evening they hear everybody in the house and know it's time forDIN-DIN! Most of the ruckus happens at this time of day. They bouncearound their cages and do a lot of rearranging until we have paid them"proper" attention. Then it's back down for a nap.

They also have times during the night that they are up and about, butit's usually after my bedtime and I think they're just trying to wakeme up for some extra nose/ear rubs.

As for during the day....the little boogers sleep it away. I was homefor a whole week and didn't have any bunnie to keep me company duringthe day. I would try to take them out, but I would get nipped ("I'mstill sleepie Daddy....leaveme aloooone..NIP!") or they would just fallasleep on me.

Some days, the only time I have to let my bunnies out is when I am doing my homework. That may work for you...
