What breeds are my bunnies?

Hi! This is Karam and he is five years olld! I was wondering what breed he is because the person I got from him never knew. Any ideas?

And this is Iman. She has been living with Karam from a very young age and she is six years old! Any ideas on her breed?

Well I know one thing about your bunnies, they are adorable. Thanks so much for sharing those pics.

How big are your bunnies? If they are 7-8 lbs?

I would guesstimate New Zealands (NZ). By Karam's ears and Iman's Dewlap.

Karam is a Black NZ and Iman is a Squirrel Marten NZ.

Whatever they are, they look like sweet pets! Look forward to hearing more about them.

Ahh, thank youu guys! And like I said on the other post too, yup, they do weigh 7 pounds with Karam being a bit heavier. I also checked out the New Zealand rabbits and that might be a possiblity. The person I got them from said she forgot what karam was but it was Dutch or something like that. Im guessing she might have meant New Zealand!!

Karam looks like a Black New Zealand mix. If he was dutch mix there would usually be some kind of white markings on him.

Iman can be a New Zealand mix also BUT her color is called CHESTNUT AGOUTI Her head looks like my britannia petites but highly unlikely since her size is so big. (brits are max 2lbs)New Zealands do not come in Chestnut Agouti so she is most likely mixed with something that does come in this color. With what is the big question.

New Zealands senior weight is 9-12lbs so they are mixed with something smaller.

I was going to say that Karam might be a Polish but he's way too big at 7 pounds for that. They have really sweet faces for such big(ish) rabbits!
