Yum! I'm hungry now .
My favourite meal is called raw fish here, not sure what you'd call it elsewhere. I learnt this of a Samoan family.
It's basically you take any amount of the following ingrediants that you like or have and let them sit overnight.
A pile of chunkely chopped fish, any firm white meat fish will do, preferably with a mild flavour and scent
Lemon juice
Coconut milk (or cream if you aren't on a diet)
Chopped spring onion
Chopped tomato
Capsicum (bell peppers in come countries), red green and yellow
Small amount of diced carrot
Throw it all in a large bowl, let sit over night or at least a few hours. The lemon juice marinates and sort of half cooks the fish.
It sounds weird, but oh my goodness it's like heaven to eat :shock:.
