We're new...Nancy and Basil

Hi pretty new here..have read many posts trying to learn about my bunny Basil..I thought she was a boy at first but..its a girl..I was in Susanville CA visiting my bestie and one of her rabbits had babies oh man they were so cute I really tried resisting but the one I really wanted was right between 2 dog houses and I picked her up and my friend said the mom probably wouldn't take her back...I was mom now...took her to the lake with me the next day and when we got back 3 babies were dead from the heat...so my guilt of catching her turned to...okay maybe it was meant to be.
