my bunny pooped 2 times in a row and the first one was about a inch and the second one was the same but watery! is this normal? There is no rabbit vet nearby what can i do?:?

she has been getting unlimited hay since we had her and unlimited pellets, thats all in her cage she has a mineral stone which she licks. What can i do?

I would remove the pellets for a day or two so she'll eat more hay.

Make sure she's drinking. If not, I'd start syringing water and or pedialyte immediately. Do you have a syringe or large medicine dropper?

You can find pedialyte in the baby/infants area of most stores (Walmart/grocery stores, etc).

It is sort of like Gatorade for adults - but it is designed for babies. (DO NOT GIVE YOUR RABBITS GATORADE).

It has electrolytes and stuff for when a child is sick and it is good for rabbits to keep them hydrated and give them stuff they need if they're not healthy too.

It comes in unflavored and different flavors. I buy my rabbits the grape or fruit flavor - I don't know what other flavors there are.

she just pooped again and its like soft and squishy (i didnt touch it) i guess it kinda lost the water. Is the poo still not normal?

The only poop you should be seeing should be nice round, firm balls. The occasional cecotroph (looks kind alike a long wet rasperry) is okay, just not an excessive amount.

If her poop is still mushy, try to find some pedialyte. I know for sure there is some at Pharmasave and other pharmacies, and there's probably some at your local grocery store if they have a pharmacy section.

You can by syringes in the same section.

My buns all think pedialyte is a treat and will take it from a syringe no problem.

Buns lose a lot of fluids with runny poos, and it's even worse with babies. So keeping a baby hydrated is very important.

I freaked out :thud:the first time my bunny had excess cecals, so don't feel bad. Bunnies can go downhill fast, and they hide their symptoms sometimes. It takes a watch full eye checking those poops to catch things sometimes.:privateeyes
