I just typed the date as 1/2/98. :foreheadsmack:I really must be tired or something!

I got up at 4:45 to hit the little girls' room and get a drink. I popped in here to read a bit before returning to the warmth of my heated mattress pad on my bed.I'm not that lucky.

Then hubby's alarm rang. It's cold. "Can you make me a thermos of hot chocolate to take along?" His thermos is gigantic! It holds like 8 cups and he has a thermal cup to fill.I use the microwave to heat the water in a large measuring cup. I have a large container of hot chocolate mix. I got it made..... it takes about 15 to 20 minutes for all of it. I am still awake.

I folded some laundry also.

It's 6:50 a.m. It's still cold.

3° F - I think I'm going togo back to bed and stay there all day!!!

Wow, I thought it was Monday.

And I spent Dec. 30 thinking it was NYE. ALL DAY! (Had to run down the "30 days has September, April June and.... duh..."

As it turned out, that would have been best.

I woke up with a major hangover.

Typical for the season, yeah... 'cept that it was NYE and I hadn't drank, smoked or even eaten too much.Reoccuring flu. :grumpy:

Kissed my pillow at midnight. Didn't even feed the bunnies. :(

On the upside, never did like that holidaymuch, always stayed home and kissed my computer (or watched videos), anyway. :p

Hope everybody else had fun!

Yeah, but a lot to be said for cuddling under a ton of blankets on a cold day (especially with a bunny). Seems extra cozy. (Until youHAVE to get up, then it's sheer h*ll!)

PS: It was so cold in my room this morning, Pipp came and actually curled up and slept with me instead of her usual routine -- getting pets, grooming me and 'fluffing' (and chewing :X) my bedspread(while I'm under it).

I only get two days of the year off. Christmas and New Years Day, so I make the most of it..... by sleeping as much as I can. :p
It's hard trying to sleep in, when you get up at 4:30 every morning. You automatically wake up at that time .... :grumpy:
So I got up, fed the bunnies and tried to back to sleep. Didn't help much as I laid in bed.
I just ended up with a head ache and a sore back for the rest of the day for trying to sleep in. :X
At les, I got to stay home and see what the bunniesdo every morning when I am gone to work. They sleep ... :clown

Today was busy at work. As always, when you take a day off, everything piles up and you have more work to get done.
Now the boss wants me to go in earlier tocatch up withevery thing .... :tantrum:

Good thing someone started this, because I wouldn't have gotten to it until now.

First day back at work and I'm overwhelmed....and we're short a person, to boot.

It was cold here this morning, too.....not as cold as some places, but it was extra windy this morning.
Garbage men came at around 5am. The cans started blowing around after they were empty and that spooked the dog.....so we got non-stop "woofs" every couple of minutes for about an hour. I finally got up and ran outside to collect the cans....man it was cold....and the wind, oh my. And there I am running around chasing garbage cans in my sweat pants and a t-shirt...at least I had the sense to put my sneakers on....brrrr-r-r-r-r-rr-rrr!!!!

I keep forgetting that it's Wednesday and not Monday. A lot of people call me for our class schedules and I've been so confused...."I'm sorry but they won't be open again until Wednesday....oh....wait....it is Wednesday:?."

A couple more hours and I'll be outta here.....don't even mind that I have to change the litter pans tonight as long as I'm outta here.

PS: I got real sad when I counted over 150 Angel-buns for 2007....so many :(....too many.

Finally home!

I left home Monday afternoon and returned home last night with 15 minutes in the day to spare.

Had a great New Years Eve, nothing like bringing it in with rabbit friends! I think I was in line for food or walking to the line with it struck midnight. Show ended around 4:30 or 4:45 am and crashed around 7 am. So yesterday was spent relaxing and hit the road for the way home around 9 pm. Normally takes me an hour and 45 mins to get home but with the road conditions it took 2 1/2 hours. We were making our own lanes on the interstate! Needless to say the kids got an extra day of Christmas Vacation.

Think we are rolling in at 7 degrees right now.

PIPP, I went back to bed and when I woke up, it was 9:45. A few minutes later Lexi came in carrying Tony. He hopped all over us and snuggled in next to us a few times over the next hour. He's so good about being on the bed.

Sydney came in also and had to get her love and snuggle time. A huge dog and a bunny.... LOL! They enjoyed the warmth I think - Syd always sleeps with me. She was stretched out across hubby's side of the bed LOL!

I don't mind winter - but these temps! I hate it. We have to bring KC in and it's hard on her to switch the temps so much. She's too old for it.

Our garbage day was Dec. 31 The regular garbage man picked up the garbage, but the Blue Box pick up for recycles didn't come, and all that stuff is still sitting on the curb. Some of the neighborsempty Christmas boxes are blowing down the streets.
I dare not let Pebbles on our bed. With the pee and poop war that Pebbles and Bebe are having, nothing is safe. :vacuum:

Dwarf_Angel04, did you get to eat Chinese food?
I've been eating out every night ... and I don't seem to gain any weight .... :biggrin2:
I guess I don't need that NY resolution to lose 10 lbs. :p

I did the same thing, Jim. Kept saying, "my gosh, so many".

I was holding my breath for the whole month of December. In 2007, I lost a bunny every third month - Toby in March, Baby in June, and Cooper in September.

Don't want to jinx myself, but I think the curse has been lifted! Thank God. I can't takeany more.

not like it just flopped out of the water. :D

It was just out of the water, same as the crab. The restaurants have watertanks, where they take out the fish, crabs, lobster and cook it right away. It is so fresh. :D

These pictures were taken with the Nikon D 300, if you want to get any info about the pictures.

I started work today. It was a little nerve wracking but it was just orientation and I was in it with my roommate and another guy who just moved here so it was pretty good!

I have the leaway of making my own hours (sweet!) so I chose to do 4 days working, 3 days off instead of 5 shorter dayson, 2 off. He also told me I can bank my hours so if I work a weekend, I can take an extra few days off which is really good for me. He also gave me the option of when to start, which I found strange, LOL. But I am starting (officially) tomorrow morning because I don't want to sit here and be bored.

I'm going to be shadowing the emergency response team, which is so sweet! I also get to see them blast something, so that will be cool. And my boss is going to try to get me some lab time so I can at least get a little experience related to my field, lmao.

Oh and I get my own office, he he.

Anyways, signing off. (Still missing the bunnies.)

Well I resigned from my job on Dec. 14, so since then I've been online everyday sending my resumes and cover letters.

Other than that, I've been having to give all the buns oral antibiotics everday starting yesterday. To tell you the truth, I don't think I'm going to survive it for 2 weeks. Latte is usually so good at it, but today I had to bunny burrito him for the first time, and I still made it out with a cut eyelid.

My sister and I are in a weight loss competition with her friends. My goal, lose 30lbs by April 1st starting Jan.1st. So far, I haven't really done anything. Outstanding job!

OH, and I've had a cold since the week before Christmas, and it's so cold here that my nose is still running.

Off to find a job, clean the house, and do laundry.
