Hey guys here are a few one is tried but disliked, not tried but first where I personally go, and LOVE this vet.

My vet:
Cedar Plaza Vet, this vet who works with bunnies is GREAT!!!!!! Very caring and understanding staff who love their jobs, and care for the pets they see. The vet tech actually owns bunnies herself and the vet owns chinchillas. They took great care of my kitty until he died of cancer 15 months ago, so Cole is my first pet since then. ALex was just as an FYI a 13 yo cat when we rescued him from a shelter, and we had him for another two years, we wanted him to have a nice final few years, He had kidney disease which oddly enough we got rid of and got his numbers back to normal before the cancer took him, but enough of that. Back to Raving about this vet: they even cremate your loved ones and you can get them or like I did allow them to be cremated and then put around apple trees the circle of life type thing, plus I got my kitties paw print to have and a card for sympathy, the vet was on the phone with me while I cried, and talked to me, they really care and that is an awesome thing for a vet to do take the time out her busy schedule to try at least to make me feel better. and I was so thrilled that they also took care of bunnies. They do not do surgery on them though but general checkups is very well priced, my bun had his first checkup, and nails clipped for 40 bucks. They are a no nonsense vet and I LOVE that, they don't try to push unnecessary anything, it's only what is needed. So yeah totally awesome vet I can't say enough good things about her.
Lynnwood, Edmonds, Everett, etc areas

VCA vet clinic in Lynnwood, but personally, I DO NOT recommend them due to exuberant prices

Now this one I have not personally tried but one of my husbands co workers said this and she works at a bunny rescue shelter so I take her words carefully and weight them but they do have a high rating????? According to this woman that shelter which is near UWB, they do have a LOT of specialists but they are pricey and apparently rabbits who go to get spayed or nuetuered DIE quite a bit. Simple operations of very healthy bunnies and they die which suggests that bunny surgery isn't a forte of these specialists. DO NOT GO THERE. It's sad when a bunny rescue volunteer has to tell us that when she knows we need to fix our bun.:nono
The Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine

Yup, WA state.
That last one is where we take Harvey. The Center for Bird And Exotic Animal Medicine. She had her neutering there. They've always been very kind and patient with her. We've been going there for 3 years now and the staff have always been amazing.

okay. :)

The names Everett Lynnwood Edmonds Mukilteo weren't at all familiar. I couldn't tell if "washington" was being used as a county name. (There are lots of counties in the US named "Washington.")

oooh good point I should have stated that in the beginning..........oopsie Is there any way to fix that??????. I am glad to know of a personal experience for the exotic one, because I was not sure at all. I love my vet, but had to search around for neutering because they don't do that, basic care only. I did find one who is reasonable, and deals with bunnies Kamaka Exotics, I don't know much about them other than their scores (just like the The Center for Bird And Exotic Animal Medicine I check customer reviews a lot YAY google! ) So I don't know much about these places, but they do exist there were just too many to list. As my husband says google is your friend. BUT be careful because apparently they aren't checking for rabbit specific vets.

Thank you for those vet recommendations, Colebunbun, as they may come in handy! That Exotics place where we take Harvs is expensive. Also, I've been trying to place the rabbit shelter you talk about. It's by UWB? Ive been to the one in Kenmore, Rabbit Meadows. That woman who runs it, she has lots ( and lots!!) of negative things to say about various vets in the area.

My boyfriend says the exact same thing! " Google is your friend". It's so true too. I've rated the vets and rescues I've visited as most people don't bother. It's important to let other people know how your experience went though, so others know what to expect. Thanks again for your great recommendations!

no the vet is that I was told to avoid was near UWB, ....I THOUGHT I got the name right.......It could be that shelter you referred to? My hubby could let us know for sure. I asked him to let me know. But yeah cedar is great and cheap. and she loves bunnies. Oh one random question and sorry it's off topic but I didn't want to start another thread is all. My rabbit has picked one place to go to the bathroom in the house, and I spray the area with vinegar water mix, and put down litter boxes, vinegar is great on carpets makes them look like new! but ahem, he peed right in front of it. Granted, I read that it's easier to litterbox train(I use yesterdays news) AFTER he is clipped but that won't be until the third and I would hate to have him confined in his cage. He is a free range bunny in our home, even picked up one of those carpet sweepers that were silent to pick up the hay and poop which works great. Any ideas?

Please start a new thread for your question so this one remains what the topic title says
