So I’ve redone my bedroom and I want to give Apollo a bit of a cuter little area. My room is pretty tiny but Apollo can go everywhere in it and uses the space under my bed a lot too (it’s a huge hidey house basically) and I have a two-door hidey house right by my bed. When my brother gets round to cleaning his room (his room is also being redecorated, so it’s been quite messy too), Apollo will be allowed free-access in there too.

so a few things before I show you;

~ I have no toys - at all. I’m aware of that already, because I gave all my toys to my aunts bunnies or threw them away so that I could get him all new ones. I haven’t bought him a proper set of new toys since I got him, so i decided now is the time. Any toy ideas would be great too!

~ I’m getting proper wood litter tomorrow, so the litter box won’t be lined with paper towel

~ I don’t want it to be/look like a bunny room, as it is my room aha. hopefully when/if we move in a few years, he’ll get his own room then. But I do of course, still want him to have everything he needs and more.

anyway, onto the pictures. Feel free to be as harsh/strict as you want, as I already know how much it sucks haha. He’s literally got the the bare minimum aha (a litter box and a water bowl).

ah, I also have a really soft rug coming for the floor and need to repaint the wall after mr sprayed for the first time (since he of course, couldn’t do it before we spend loads of money redecorating 🤦‍♀️)

Hmm if you have access to a local home depot then you could go and find a bunch of bunny safe wood and then have them cut it at the place so you could make a adorable and cheap hidey house!!

You could also get home one of those ikea beds
Neither of my bunnys ever, EVER even sniffed any of the beds I've bought them but I decided to buy the ikea doll bed to give it a chance and now they send almost all their naps on it 😍
Totally worth the money to find a cute bed that the buns acually use

One other thing is to order a wine crate from ikea and happer off a couple boards to make a cute hide out

This is the one I made:

It does have 2 openings**

I have also found some etsy sellers with cute colored toys that are cheaper then normal and have thousands of 5⭐ reviews

The funny thing is that I am literally decorating and cleaning my new bunny room right now 🤣

(I just finished bonding my bunnys)

They do have 2 entrances**

Oh also I have found some cute safe toys on etsy for bunnys that have thousands of 5⭐'s

I don't know if Oxbow is available in England but it's a super great choice for toys!

Maybe put the litter box in the corner, and put the hay in the closet so it isn't as noticable as a bunny room? And if you have nic grids you can make a little shelf over the litter box to both conceal it a little and maybe store some cute jars with treats in them.

Another suggestion would be items that can easily be put away, such as pop up tunnels/hideouts he can use them periodically and you can put them away when you don't want it to look so much like a bunny room.

Thank you both! I actually need to get a base for my IKEA doll bed (I lost the other one somehow 🤦‍♀️) so I’ll definitely get that!

we don’t have much oxbow here unfortunately. Their toys always look great - I might go through their website and see if I can find a Uk alternative.
I also really like the collapsible toys and stuff - thank you! xx

Also, snuffle mats take so long to make 😭😂

It looks great though!
Some Rosewood Naturals stuff is okay and I'm pretty sure they're Europe based. I've seen quite a bit of their items have millet though which I wouldn't feed to rabbits.

You could make him some toys too... Pinecones are very decorative and my bunnies love to chew on them.
Thank you! Yeah, I’ve tried that. He’s got a few toys that I made this week while I was restocking my shop (pine cones, willow flings, palm leaf bowls) but they don’t last long at all

Id recommend the shops
Blossom and poppy
Bunniesandaloha
Adashofdaisy
Littlebeasttreats
OinkandBebop (for minimalistic rabbit toys, which I think your going for)
Flopsonfabric
Bunmommakes
Id maybe get a cute blanket and pillow set from Bunnies with aloha,
Cute signs from A dash of daisy
some adorable bendable tunnels from LittleBeastTreats, (you can ask to custom make them all white)
OinkandBebop has some really cute beds and foraging mats.
Flops on fabric make these adorable bunny sofas!! They work with the ikea doll bed.
