Volunteering at Rabbit Rescue

I finally got a call back from the rabbit rescue and they will be letting me volunteer to feed rabbits there!
They originally wanted me to come in on Wednesday, but they called this morning and said I should come in today to watch them feed the rabbits so I know what to do.
I'm excited to get to meet all the bunnies and to be able to get out of the house at least once a week now!
If they let me take pictures of some of the bunnies I might share them here...
I remember seeing a giant there once and she was so cute and friendly. She looked a lot like my giant, Pokey, but she was blonde (I'm not sure what the color is called in rabbits, but it looked like the color of blonde human hair). I hope I get to meet a lot more cute bunnies.

I looked it up and the name of the color on a giant rabbit is "fawn"

I went in and got to feed about 60 bunnies. There were so many, the place is a bit overwhelmed right now so they were thankful that I agreed to come in a few times a week. The bunnies are so sweet and friendly! A lot of them came right up to me and wanted attention and I got to pet them.

Glad you finally got something worked out with them, and it sounds like a great time for you and a great way to help your community! It's especially rewarding that your "community" includes rabbits!!
