I was just wondering, I have some Eravac in the fridge to protect against RHD. I inject myself, the rabbits I'm intending to inject next week are Mini Rex and a couple tans. The vaccine is currently 1 day before it runs out of date. Will it still be ok to use in a week, and will it still be active?
If it helps, it's a 20 dose vial, I do 0.5ml per rabbit, clean needle each time.
Also where can you get more?

This may seem silly but why do you inject yourself? Isn't RHD just something that affects animals in other countries?

Well where did you get them from in the first place? And how many rabbits do you have that you need to vaccinate them so often?
The vaccine dates are there for a reason - they may well still work but you won’t know for sure.

I inject myself as I find it ALOT cheaper than the vets, where it would cost about £30 a rabbit. I live in England so it's probably a bit different here and something a lot of breeders have been struck by losing up to 100 rabbits.

I got them from a vet practice which has since been put out of business as I live in a very unpopulated area. The next nearest one is an hour away and although I have the papers, it's probably unlikely they'll sell to me. I have 80 currently and I do 20 in October and 60 in January

Elicia you need to rephrase that, hence the confusion.

What you wrote says you are giving the vaccine to yourself which is not needed.
Vs
You do the injections into your rabbits yourself.
