Usagi - Your name means "Bunny" in Japanese. You were tiny, only 1 lb 14 oz of pure joy. Usagi, you were my first bunny and loved as much as any bunny ever could be loved. I got you in January of last year and you died May 29, 2007 in the wee hours of the morning.

I still wish I could have somehow been a better daddy for you but I do know that you came from a family where you were abused by children and that you were very happy being with me. So in your short life of a year or so you saw some happiness.

Looking at your pictures and your videos still draw tears but I want to share you with others.

I now have Thumper and Pegasus. They are each very special too and they help fill the empty spot, but there will never ever be another Usagi. I hope someday we can "binkie" together, though I'll never be as good at it as you are.

Aww, rest in peace little Usagi. Usagi and my Tallulah must have accompanied each other to heaven, she died on May 27th too. Maybe they're good buddies now. Usagi was a very cute little guy and I'm glad you were able to offer him the loving home he deserved, even if it was only for a little while.

I remember when Usagi first became ill and Randy helped save him. I was so sad to hear of his subsequent passing. He was such an adorable little guy. We all hold our first bunnies very close to the heart. :rainbow:
