Her back legs are bad again today (just 1 dead leg), I am finding I had to give her a bum bath every 1.5ish weeks since I had her, her butt gets all yellow from urine stains and the occasional grape poop she sits on before eating it. Yesterday was a bad one when she peed on my bed and sat in it for a good while before I noticed.
Is there another way I can help her keep her bum clean as I donāt want to stress her out giving her such frequent bumbaths.
Her litter tray has a layer of pine pellets, old hay, plastic sifter and in a corner will be fresh hay to eat
But occasionally she will sit/pee in the pile of her eating hay which also causes some stain.
Corn starch really seems to bring out the smell of urine when I apply/brush stained areas after washing. Could this be the scent glands I've seen videos of? or is my nose too sensitive?
