Make sure you get her some pain meds for the next few days, an injection will not cover her long enough.

Good luck at the vets :) Please let us know how she goes.

my mum said she does noot look like she is sore and does not need any.
she has not ate any thing (only 2 bites) and stopped drinking to day.
oh no, ofcourse she does not need pain meds/.......
i have 20 pounds left from my birthday.
it might cover pain meds.....

Twenty pounds should be plenty for a small bottle of Metacam.

Unfortunately, as you know, but your mum probably doesn't, bunnies hide their pain as much as possible. You are right in looking for the signs she is uncomfortable, so well done for indentifyin them. I hope that you are able to get some pain meds.

so do i.....
hey im not smart. she gobbles stuff down like there is no tomorrow.
ok, medcame is the best one/ cheaperst...

ok after waiting for the vet, and dogs on leadss.....
we wnett iin
the vet said that the stiches were ok, but to keep an eye on it/ he gave her some antibiotics. rabbit safe ones
i said about the pee and pooing and not eatting (and not drinking today) so we tempet her with apple. worked.
4 times a day, vasiline, small pea sized amount and to ring him 2morow after school around 5 and we might get some drops for the water. so.........caramel had to say thanks with not one bite, not 2, but 3 bites and a big scratch. that was nice of her..:D

the vet said she sems fine, BUT TOMORROW IF SHE IS NOT THE BEST,
to bring her in anyway and i might get medacam or the other one

I really think she needs the pain meds. She sounds like she's in real distress if she's not eating or drinking. Rabbits need to have their GI systems going at all times and so they have to eat constantly. Not eating or pooing for 24 hours is a very serious problem. Your vet should know that. Have you tried syringe feeding her anything, like baby food, canned pumpkin, pellet slurry, or critical care? She needs to get something in her, and soon. Pain meds will make her feel better so that she will eat, but if they won't give you those try syringe-feeding her until you can get the medicine from that vet or perhaps another one because this one seems uncooperative.

oh, ok. its only me who would chosse a bad vet.#

ok. none of the any above.

ok..........
i looked at the stches.
she pulled some more out and is eatting wetted fruit and veggies. (on;y the ones that are introducted to her)
and the wound, the stiches have been pulled out.
i am bring her up. the insde stiches are ok.
not bleeding or any thing.
drinking....no. so i wewt the veggies

Elena, your vet could be perfectly good with other animals, and maybe think he knows rabbits, but actually not doesn't. It's really hard when you're younger and you know things and you want certain things, but can't get them because those older than you say no. I agree that your vet is not the greatest, and I would suggest not using them in the future. Why? Because I used to have a vet that wasn't the greatest and I was too thick to know, and those vets cost the lives of5 of my rabbits. I wish, like you, I had known they weren't good, and had gone looking for a better one because those buns might still be alive (or at the least, I would think maybe 4 of them might have been). Thankfully I have now found a better one, and it makes the world of difference for your rabbit care. You're in a very hard position, but I do think it is worth looking around for another vet.

To me, she still sounds in pain if she is pulling her wound. How is her urine this morning? Is she still lying in wee? How is she in herself?

not weeing , asin on her self. there is a bit more wee in the litter box.
poo, yes..... (all of this is from this morning, im in school now...)
she is alot better in herself, like carachter. but the womd worries me. when i get home will ring up st. elmos vets. they are rabbit vets aswell. and foyle view. but the one which she got done in (whitehouse)vets said to ring him at 5 ish to tell him how shwe is. ill ask on the phone about meds for pain. like,.. the ones other post above.
there is atleast 2 more rabbit vets in the surronding area. foyle view is a small animal and horse clinic.... st elmos has some good known vets for small animals , like rabbits.

ove all from this morning she is ok. but my brother took a pic of the wound. so if it looks worse when we get back, or the vet says on the phone o bring her in i will.
(she actually likes the car rides, from her body laugue)

i seen a different vet in the same building. he was ncer, and new a bit more about rabbits......
um....,,...
I GOT PAIN MEDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and atibiotics.

Good. I'm glad you have pain meds and a better vet. Did he re-close up her wound?

a bit.but not all
if she starts to pick at them again to bring her in.
its the same vet place, but more kind, and seemingly experienced or more knowalge.

i have a weeks worth of anti biotics and pain meds (anti biotics for the water)
