1. How do you tame a bunny SO MUCH that you can hold them like a baby, etc. ? Like I've seen on some pictures (avator of holding a white flemish like a baby, etc.) Do you have to do it ALOT from baby up to get them used to it ? Or how do you get them like that ?

2. When bonding intact females from baby up (I've been told that it can be done if they start bonding as babies), how many bunnies can you bond ? Just two ... or can three or four, etc. bond if they're all together from baby up and have plenty of space = to avoid being "crammed together" etc.

Ok well, I was just reading another post about bonding 3 bunnies, so I think I got question 2 sorta answered ...(what I gathered from the post I read) =It's really hard to do, and they love everyone when they're babies, then when they start going through the hormonal changes they can become aggressive out of the blue ... do I got it correct ? So it would be best to keep them seperate ? Or atleast only in pairs of two ?

Still wondering all details about question 1.

it's going to be difficult to keep 2 intact females together after they are grown up. They usually will fight with each other. They should be spayed anyway because of health concerns and also because it willeven out their temperaments. 2 spayed sisters have a higher chance of bonding than 2 separate buns from different families

but none of this is set in stone. When you get a bunny you often will not get exactly what you thought you were getting.

Bunnies have different temperaments just like people. if you want a cuddle bunny best to get one as an adult (from a rescue). The rabbit's personality will already be formed and you will know what you are getting.

Their are some buns that will never allow a lot of contact no matter how much you work with them...other will eventually warm up.

Some breeds are known to be very sweet. i believe that one of them is the flemish giant. Some breed can be less cuddly like the netherland dwarf.

Why don't you ask about breeds in the rabbitry section ..you may also get some hints from breeders on gentle sweet cuddle bunnies.

Lots of handling when they are young definitely helps, but most rabbits just don't truly enjoy being fiddled and held like a baby.. very rarely do you find one who does! It's a lot more rewarding to them cuddling on the ground where they feel safe. I don't know how often Poppy was handled as a baby, but she's byfar my easiest to handle but that's just how she is. She is my only one who is close to liking being held.. and will trance with no effort at all. Don't think it's something taught or tamed, just how the bunny is and the trust :). Poppy's a holland lop mix.

On the other hand, Pebbles I got as a teeny tiny baby, and she's never even came close to liking being held even after frequent handling.. she tolerates it, but hates it. Bruno is a french lop, and where he LOVES being totally smothered with kisses and snuggled with on the floor, if I try to pick him up he will kick, grunt and fight me until he feels secure, then he'll start to snuggle up with being held, but he MUCH rather be snuggled on the floor.
